the place wasnt far from lots of things

i went snowboarding with my girlfriend..it was 3 stops away from the village on the bus which stoped every 15min across the ... street...it had its own parking lot underneath and was pretty much in the middle of main street oh and it was easy to find ..the price was also not bad

The person who checks you in at the front desk was very grumpy. He never did become ungrumpy our entire stay!! The Hotel ... was OK. A lot of $$ per night, for not a lot of amenities. Good location though.

I stayed at the Quality Inn Mammoth Lakes a few summers back on a trip to climb Mt Whitney. The spa was quite a nice and big ... enough for our whole group (10 people). A few weeks ago, I took another trip down 395 and stayed here again on my way to Death Valley. In the late autumn (20 degree) night, the spa water was still nice, but the air was a bit cold since it is semi-outdoor (covered).
