The hotel was great. Our experience after using [...] is another story. Our VISA number was re-submitted several times ... after the hotel charge was posted. Following the re-submittals our card was fraudulently used. We have had to cancel our account because of this. This could not have happened at a worst time - during Christmas and as we prepared for a weekend away. We normally go directly to the hotel but chose to use [...] this time - bad move. We will go directly to hotel next time even if it is a few dollars more.

We were in town for a party and couldn't find anything decent in Solvang. [...] unexpectedly included breakfast. Valley side ... is quieter because you're away from the freeway noise. Hotel was very pleasant, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was quite good - included an omelet bar. Only a few minutes from Solvang and away from the noise. Close to the wine country.

Very friendly, helpful staff made our stay at Marriott very enjoyable. If you are looking for a nice place to stay on a ... budget while visiting the Santa Ynez wineries, I highly recommend this hotel. It is not walking distance to Solvang or Los Olivos, but the extra comfort at a cheaper price is well worth the sacrifice.

The Ballard Inn restaurant is AMAZING. If you dont mind spending more on dinner than you did on a hotel, this place is a must! Also, the Foxen Canyon wineries are what the wine country is all about.

Frankly, it's a nice hotel ( not a resort ) in a dumpy location. Not up to the standards of a class act Marriott. Staff were ... great. Breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Great complimentary breakfast. Our room bed squeaked and was very annoying during the nite. Our bathroom camode was loose ... and so it made a loud noise went you sat down and got up. The housekeeping staff did not get our room serviced until after 4 pm.

The Marriott was very comfortable, the room was very clean. We went on a wine tasting tour, the bus picked us up from the ... hotel and dropped us off, no hasels. The staff was very friendly and informative. They new all the good places to visit. We really enjoyed our relaxing vacation.

Solvang is a nice city a few miles away from the Marriott. There is a lot of shopping and good places to eat.

the staff was very friendly upon our arrival and we were greeted when we were walking to our room by the housecleaning ... staff. the beds were very comfortable i loved the sheets very soft. we had a very nice buffet breakfast that was included in our room reservation. i would stay again in a heartbeat.
