Hyatt poor service

Hotel was under a remodel so most of the services where not available. ex: pool. Sat at bar for 20 minutes and no ... bartender. Did not get free wifi that was offered because of the remodel. Hyatt charged my credit card $202.00 by mistake.

The hotel has a great location. We were unable to enjoy the pool due to renovation. When they are done it is going to look ... fantastic! Got a great discount due to the renovation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable. I would give it five stars when the renovations are done. I would stay again.

Hyatt under construction!

My 4 friends and I attended a concert in Palm Springs on 08/22/09. We could have stayed at the hotel where the concert was ... being held but chose not to. We decided to make reservations at the Hyatt because the pricing was great. Eventhough the Hyatt was under construction we felt that the hotel was nice and the location was great. We'd stay there again, especially after the renovation.

the room was great. fridge was a nice addition. the downstairs bar opened up onto the main drag. the only downside was the ... fact that our roomservice trays were not removed for 2 day! they sat outside out room. kind of an eyesore.

Not worth the price

I thought this Hotel was going to be a lot nicer for the name Hyatt and the money. The pool is small. The only good thing ... about it was the location(it's right on the strip)and the restaurant out in front. The restaurant has a live band on the wekends and its cool place to eat and have drinks.

A Summer Night at the Hyatt Regency in Palm Springs

The hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. It looks as if Hyatt has spent no money on this property in 20 years. ... Tiles were missing from the exterior walls (by the pool), room carpeting had numerous burns (even though it was a non-smoking room, and the entire property had a very dated look. The pool area was very unruly: People were smoking in the pool even though signs were posted otherwise, jumping and running around the pool deck seemed unsupervised by staff.... On the positive side, the location is great and all staff with whom we communicated were polite and helpful. For those that may have stayed there before, I discovered that the hotel no longer connects with the mall, which apparently doesn't exist any more.... In the heat of summer, I was looking forward to this and it was a disappointment.

Rooms need overhaul

The Hyatt Regency suites in Palm Springs needs a major overhaul. When you arrive, the lobby is a work of art. Very nice. When ... you go to your room, depression sets in. The rooms need a major overhaul. They are dated. Our matress had a valley in the middle. When we called the front desk they said that they would fix it. We came back later that night and it wasn't fixed. They showed us another room, but that was to noisy from the outside bar that they have. We decided to stay in the same room and they gave us a discount. They also charge $10.00 per day for parking. The hotel is walking distance to downtown. We wouldn't stay there again.
