I was worried what I was getting myself into, paying only $40 per room for 2 rooms in Gatlinburg, just off the strip, for a ... Saturday night on-peak. This hotel was perfect. We got a steal on the price - 2 super clean rooms, high def TVs, strong water pressure, and a great location. Will stay again.

Great location but small
Tennessee Traveler Oct 4, 2009
Great for the money...very convenient to the main strip in Gatlinburg. Pancake House up about one block. Can walk to ... Calhouns Restaurant, Bubba Gumps Shrimp House and A Sports Bar for the big games. Room - There was no seating area in the room so you had to sit on the bed to watch TV...nice Flatscreen though. Small refrig in room to hold drinks. How much time is spent in the room anyway? Good for a weekend trip. Bed was comfortable too. Bathroom remodeled. Ok for couple but not recommended for more than two people.

Football Mom Sep 15, 2009
We conquered the entire town. Upon arrival we never got back in the care til we went to a different town to explore. So, ... money was saved from no parking fees & no extra gas purchased. Not only was the location great the staff was wonerful. The FREE breakfast is small & limited to doughnuts, instant grits & bagels. But once again it was FREE. We will definitly be staying @ this hotel again.

My child is an amazon parrot, and I chose Microtell because they were pet friendly and the closest to what my family wanted ... to do for our vacation, although it wasn't nearly long enough. The only thing that doesn't accomodate me is the experation date on the 10% off next hotel stay, I get lucky when my schedule falls on several days and that doesn't happen often, so my "vacations" are sporatic at best, I wish the coupon was good for up to a year.

Most everything we did was close by to accomodate an elderly father so it had to be short walks. I didn't mind driving farther if there was something we wanted to do outside of our walk, hotels need to have agreements with parking lots so we don't have to pay a full fee everytime we needed to park, i realize fees are for all day, but it would be nice to get discounts for a hour or two parking space.

This hotel is what you would expect to get for the price. Rooms are small but clean. Location, however, is excellent, we ... parked our car at the hotel and never got back in it until time to come home. The "contintal" breakfast was a bit laking with only ceral and bagels, but what can you say about a free breakfast.

If you go online to the Ripleys Aquarium of the Smokeys you can purchase a combo pack allowing you to get into the aquarium and 2 other attractions for about $40 a person where it is $20 to get in the aquarium alone, we really enjoyed the Believe or Not, and Mirror Maze

It was nice for the price. We paid only 40 dollars a night and we were two min. walk from Gatlinburg. It was a great location ... and quite. The staff was nice. The main issue for me was the smell in the hall way. It smelled like wet people or animals walked the hallways at all hours, and the water from them had become mildew and gross.

Do not stay here...
Gages Mom Jul 27, 2009
Our family goes to Gatlinburg several times per year and took a chance on a different hotel this time...We were so ... disappointed! The hotel that I reserved was supposed to have two queen beds and a pool. Upon check-in, we were told that only 6 rooms in the entire hotel had double queen beds and that they were all occupied. Because every other hotel was booked for the weekend, we were forced to have to sleep in one queen bed with a roll-away bed for our son. There was no pool at the hotel as advertised in the reservation. The hotel room was very tiny and you had to request access to the elevator through an intercom system every time to use it. Do not stay here, as you will certainly regret it! We checked out one night early and lost one night's charge just because the room was so uncomfortable and we were miserable!
