On previous visits to Rochester, I have preferred downtown locations over the noisy airport area, but am increasingly finding ... that the downtown hotels are sold out or very high-priced. This hotel was a nice compromise--moderate price, squeaky clean, very quiet (at least on the weekend), and only minutes from downtown, arts venues and colleges. Staff was uniformly pleasant. The neighborhood is boring, but seems safe.

The Marriott in Rochester, NY was extremely nice. From the staff to the hotel itself, everything was great! I would ... definitely recommend it!
