Nice place, but we were placed next to a wedding party. All rooms surrounding us were understandably celebrating into the ... night, but my strong recommendation is to pay attention to where people are being placed. I went to the night desk twice before things quieted down. I actually had to threaten to call the police. Liked the free breakfast! Thanks Orbitz!

Taste of Chicago 2009 Logdging Info

We were in town for the 2009 Taste of Chicago. We decided to book a hotel with Courtyard by Mariott because it was classy and ... affordable. Since we were only staying for the weekened, we decided not to spend lots of money on a hotel room. Normally we would spend a little more money if we were staying for a longer period of time. We were able to commute to area stores ans restaurants within minutes of our hotel. It only took us about 30 minutes or so to get to downtown Chicago. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider booking through Orbitz again to make our hotel arrangements.

Nice hotel, was a good location for us since we had family in the suburban area near the hotel as well as family in Chicago. ... Not any resturants near this hotel. Breakfast Buffet was OK but expensive.

Better than we hoped for!

This was a visit to family who lives about 20 minutes away. I was afraid it might be a little noisy, being close to O'Hare, ... but we never heard an airplane after getting inside. This has become our #1 choice for the Chicago area!

Very Comfortable And Affordable

The room was far more than what I could ever expected. From the bed to the desk, it had a home like feel to it. The only down ... point is just a small room layout defect. From the left side of the bed , the tv could not be seen. It truly was very cozy and comfortable.

We were recomended to this hotel by my friends Daughter and her Husband. It was only 15 minutes from the church where we ... were to go to for her grandsons' baptism. It was a short ride from O'Hare airport and close to the things we wanted to visit in Chicago. Like the Navy Pier. the only fault with the Hotel was that the resturant in house was not open in the evening, it may have been because they were remodeling the hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome. We arived 5 hours before our scheduled checkin time of 1500 hrs. They went to great lenths to get the room ready for us. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

Had short two day visit to Chicago. Location was convenient, hotel was nice, room was very nice (I was able to turn off the ... AC and open a window at night). Hotel staff was very friendly. Would definitely use this hotel again.
