The room was extremely hot and the ac did not work. They claimed that everyone was on one system and they changed over to ... heat for the winter. That does not help when the room is already 80 degrees. There was no interent. It was down for the whole weekend. Our tv did not work upon arrival and they sent someone over to fix it. The walls are paper thin. You can hear eveything your neighbors are doing!!! We had to check out after our first hot, sleepless night. This hotel is awful!!!

I found the staff gave class A attention to any and all of my needs. I truly was taken back by the friendly atmosphere and ... how efficient everyone was. Not just this person or that, or this shift or that, everyone, right down to the cleaning, my gosh you people were and are superb. I came on this trip to have quiet because I needed to go face to face with family to tell them of my impending death, and not once, did I have any difficulties with this Motel so my stay, as I'm sure you realize was needed and you did wonderful. Thank you, Jolynn

We stayed at the Dobson Ranch Best Western while visiting colleges. The grounds were beautiful, and we longed for the days ... when our daughter would insist on playing in the pool. However, the wifi made her happy. The buffet breakfast was better than the standard continental fare, and the service was very friendly. We found a couple of small maintenance issues in the room which were corrected quickly once we pointed them out. The price is very budget. The beautiful grounds, dining, and convenient location make it a good buy.

Just up the street is a new shopping center with a selection of restaurants, large movie theater, and plenty of shopping options. So an evening dinner and a movie was very easy. The sports bar on site was also convenient. Just a few exits further on Route 60 is a large waterpark - nice to know for when the hot weather comes.

Easy access to highway but you can hear the highway noise if your room faces it. Walls very thin--kept awake by coughing of ... person in next room. Room is large but worn and somewhat dirty in the corners. Toilet rocked and didn't always flush correctly. TV was awful. There was a constant loud static sound we think from cable box. Breakfast was nice. Pool was not heated but clean. Free internet in room was good to have. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Grounds are nice.

This hotel was perfectly located for us. we had two small children and not only did they have fun swimming but they slept ... soundly as well. The staff were eager to help and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for any families looking for a getaway. We stayed 3 nights and never felt like we were in each others way. Stores close by too. We really enjoyed the free buffet breakfast as well as the food

This is my second stay at Dobson Ranch Inn. Very close to family. Since I am from the SF bay area and not used to Arizona's ... June heat I was happiest with the AC, you can adjust the temperature down to 40 degrees if you want. The staff was very friendly, the room spacious and clean (newly remodeled) and the breakfast was the best I have seen at a hotel. No elevator, but that was only minimally inconvenient since only a 2 story hotel. All in all a perfect stay. Right across the street is a beautiful park with walking paths around the lake inhabited with turtles or tortoises.

We were moving our daughter into a new apartment at ASU--this hotel was perfect. great location-close to the freeway, ... shopping(as in housewares, furniture, bedding, groceries and hardware!),and places to eat. Lovely grounds, very nice change from chain hotels. Small but decent fitness area, nice pool, adequate breakfast and wonderful staff!

we were there in July--an awfully hot month. but, between 6 and 7 am the temperature is bearable, the birds are chirping and nothing beats taking your coffee to sit near one of the fountains--you may see a hummingbird fly by for a quick shower!

The Best Western Dobson Ranch is less than 5 minutes from Banner Desert Samaritan Hospital, which makes it very convenient to ... visiting or if you are a patient there. The hotel serves a very nice complimentary breakfast and the staff are friendly and responsive. The property is older but the grounds are nicely maintained. The room had 2 queen beds with a toilet/shower separate from the vanity/sink area, which works well for multiple travelers. The room was plain but clean and comfortable enough for the price, and given the convenience to the hospital, a good value.
