Nice Trip and Stay

Apple Dec 27, 2009

The price for the room is cheap. The location is little far from the strip for the 3 days visit only transportion spent at ... leat $100 bucks. I suggest stay outside the strip save more $$ even thos the hotel price are little bite high. The hotel doesnt't have a lot of choice to eat, if you really wants nice food only go out the strip. For my whole trip I will gave 1-10 scale, 6 is the most score.

Uninspiring room at extravagant price

No small fridge in room. No free internet access. Table light not working. All-night noise from elevator shafts. Dirty ... windows inside and out. No coffee maker in room. Room not worthy of a 4-star hotel. Location in relation to strip not convenient. There is a direct access to the elevated tram but at a very steep price ($ 5.00 per trip regardless of length).

The hotel was a surprise. The last time I stayed at this hotel was about 14 years ago so I was wondering how it had ... changed. It was up to date and well maintained. The hotel meets all the expectations you would expect from the Hilton name. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond ... to make our stay enjoyable. The main lounge was very comfortable and we even got some free drinks from the hotel. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I enjoyed gambling, drinking, the pool, and spending some time in the room. The hotel is not in the middle of the strip but still a lot of fun, a moderate walk or short drive will get you to the strip.

Weekend Getaway

CJ Nov 30, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

The inside exceeds your expectation. The entire hotel was clean. Fast and friendly staff at front desk. We didn't want our ... room cleaned so we called for towels and received them in a decent time. The coffee shop downstairs has the best coffee. We grabbed some that morning and took it back upstairs to relax in the room before starting a Vegas day and it felt like we lived there. Friends recommended this place to me and besides my expectation of an updated room; it was nice, relaxing, plenty of parking close to the hotel and great value. We got in one night really late and there was a 24hr cafe/deli that offers nachos to pancakes. The casino wasn't unbearably smoky.

A bit too far off the strip so assume you'll have to buy the $10 a day monorail pass to get where you are going unless you ... have a rental car. the hotel was very nice, fantastic room for the money. The casino was also a bit quiet at night, seems like most people that stayed there went somewhere else to gamble. really nice pool and spa! If you are a Hilton HHonors VIP you can use the spa for free, definitely a huge plus!!! Overall a vrey nice experience and you cannot beat the price!

Not worth Hilton name

A Traveller Nov 30, 2009

This was not really worth the Hilton name brand. Room was just average..the bathroom taps were very tight and kept dripping ... even after closing..no liquid bath gels..parking was horrible and very far from the room area..it seemed I was staying in a 2.5 star hotel..the location was also away from the strip..not worth staying at all again!

Time savers tip, Short Drive

Very close to freeway access, which is great if you're traveling throughout Las Vegas! Right next door to the LV Convention Center!

--Arizona Nomad, Tuba City, Arizona Dec 28, 2009

Dining tip, In Hotel

The Buffet was a very good deal, and the food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. We enjoyed a breakfast, a dinner and a brunch in the Buffet.

--Fanman, Lugoff, SC Dec 14, 2009

Dining tip, In Hotel

The sushi bar is very traditional, excellent but expensive.

--Frank, Carlsbad, Ca Dec 14, 2009

Time savers tip, Long Walk

If you will be there a few days buy the 3 day monorail pass. We thought we'd walk most days but by day 3 our feet were tired out! It was cheaper to buy the long term pass!

--Jack and Debbie, Okemos, MI Dec 4, 2009

Nightlife tip, Short Drive

If you want to go to the big hotels and clubs on the strip it will be about a 10-15 dollar cab ride from the Hilton.

--dr diego, twentinine palms, CA Dec 1, 2009

Dining tip, In Hotel

Everything was in the hotel. If not, it was right down the street or a monorail ride away. The monorail station is conveniently right outside the hotel doors. CVS is a down the street and a 7/11 around the corner. Everything you need can be accessed inside or right outside the hotel.

--CJ, Los Angeles Nov 30, 2009

Nightlife tip, Short Drive

located on the las vegas strip.. LA CANTINA [[bar]]

--kristopher robiin, 29 palms ca Nov 24, 2009

Dining tip, Short Drive

if you want to eat at a buffet dont eat at this hotel. Go to another maybe the MGM grand buffet. however they do have other great dining choices at this hotel.

--Mario, North hollywood Nov 22, 2009

Money savers tip, Short Drive

Gamble in the older part of town. The ol Vegas. You can play a lot longer for a little. Doesnt suck you dry in a short period of time.

--Lonajean, Escondido, CA Nov 17, 2009

Money savers tip, In Hotel

The hotel has the monorail located near the main entrance. Buy the unlimited pass if you plan on visiting some of the other hotels. Taxis are an average of $10 plus tip to any other location.

--AG, Sacramento, CA Oct 26, 2009

Entertainment tip, In Hotel

Barry Manilows show is excellent.

--love Vegas girl, Lake Havasu AZ Oct 13, 2009

Recreation/Attractions tip

In Page AZ ( north rim area ) is a smooth water raft ride down the Glen Canyon. The folks at this company ( the only one allowed access to the river at this location ) could not have been more helpful. My wheelchair friend had an absolutely delightful time. I did too !

--Sweet Marie, Lexington KY Oct 13, 2009

Time savers tip, Short Walk

The hotel is not located directly on the strip so I would suggest buying a 3 day monorail pass if you plan on traveling to the strip everyday.

--Cierrac, Baltimore,Maryland Oct 4, 2009

Entertainment tip

If you enjoy walking bring good shoes. Or some money for monorail or buses. But The duece was very affordable. Bring exact change.

--Midfire, Port Orchard, WA. Sep 29, 2009

Dining tip

FOOD IS VERY VERY EXPENSIVE IN VEGAS NO MATTER WHERE YOU EAT.

--TERI, VIRGINIA Sep 28, 2009

Nightlife tip, Long Walk

If you don't want to be out and about then this is a great place to stay, but if you want to walk around and watch the shows and visit different casinos than stay on the strip.

--Daisy in vegas, California Sep 25, 2009

Dining tip, In Hotel

the buffet is first class and well worth the money

--Pure G, Peekskill, NY Sep 8, 2009

Dining tip

Eat somewhere else.

--Bri, Agoura Hills, Ca Sep 7, 2009

Recreation/Attractions tip, Long Walk

Wear comfortable shoes, and enjoy all you can.

--Connie, Clayton, MI Aug 31, 2009

Dining tip, In Hotel

Hilton buffet was wonderful.
