There is really nothing you can't do from this location. The Blue Line train is a short distance from the hotel. Don't drive! Why when the CTA is at your service?

We had to catch the shuttle bus, then take two trains AND walk!!! Some of the trains were dirty and scary!!!! We came across scam artist, bums, people talking to themselves and and pan handlers. And twice the trains had to cut the trips short making us have to get off and walk to another CTA bus AND THEN get on another train. This was very aggrivating more so because I was told that this hotel was located 6 min (walking distance) from Michigan Ave. I had my children with me, so I decided to rent a car on the second day out of fear! I didnt want them to be exposed to any more of the people and/or danger that we experienced on the prior day. The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable....even with the minor construction. It just wasnt what I asked for ie:location, amenities etc.

when returned from trip waited over one hour for shuttle to pick us up at airport after we called for pick up only takes ... shuttle 6 minutes to get to drop off at air port.. driver said front desk did not inform him of passengers called for ride. we were not only passengers waiting . overall not bad place will stay agin .they have nice parking garage ..close to airport 6 minutes to get there...when returning from trip and you call when you are on courtesy phone with them make sure you stay on the line with them when they say they will inform driver....

After spending 8 hrs on a plane for a flight that should have taken less than 2 hrs (storms shut down O'Hare), the staff at ... the front desk helped take all the "pain" away. My spotless, comfortable room was a welcome oasis and the shower . . . well, the shower massage head further stripped away the tension and stress from the flight. The hotel is in a great locaton and the staff is truly wonderful. [...], at the front desk, inquired about my evening plans (the original plans were cancelled due to weather)and I mentioned perhaps going to Woodfield Mall. When I came down from my room, I found he had already printed out directions for me. Now that is great service!

Nice but under minor construction

The hotel was very nice. I was dissapointed with the fact that I was told by an Orbitz agent that it was six min from ... Michigan ave.....it was 30, and that they had free breakfast....they did not. They also had a lot of construction going on (nothing major, but it kept the front staff very busy and there was ALWAYS someone in the middle of the floor in the lobby area, on the outside by the door, there were things out of reach etc. Also, I was told that I would get $50 in FREE dining coupons. But they were so restricted ie: spend $35-$150 and get so much off or I would have to pay a gratuity fee of 18% to even redeem my voucher so I didnt use it..it just wasnt worth it. I was very dissapointed. Free is free. I thought it was a legitimate promotion and that I was actually going to save money on as an appreciation incentive from the Orbitz company.

Only used the room - not the pool or fitness center. Room was clean & comfortable. One problem on arrival with the drain in ... the sink was repaired within 30 mins. Staff friendly and helpful with suggestions/directions.

It was fantastic! I had a two bedroom, instead of a one two bedded room! And the perk, I only paid 90 bucks for the thing. It ... was 4 blocks from the allstate arena, so walking wasn't a problem and the hotel shuttle will take ya anywhere!

Very comfortable hotel stay. Not much in the area for breakfast if you choose to not take advantage of the hotel breakfast. ... Everything else was fantastic. Harry Carey's has very good food but can be a bit expensive, worth the money though.Very close to the Metra train to take in the city if needed.

The Hotel was ok. The beds were below todays standard in comfort. The rooms were clean. The most disappointing part of the ... stay was the service at the restaurant, especially for breakfast. The food was bland and a very limited menue. Definetly way overpriced for what was offered and the service was terrible!

I did not find the basic amenities like a washing soap or shampoo in the toilet. They dont even keep a bottle of water in ... the room.When I asked for water , the front desk asked me to come down and buy a bottle ..which I feel was very rude and really not very hospitable. There were no good restuarants nearby to grab a quick bite. The cupboard door was blocking the front door.

The room we were in smelled of sewage. There was a strange noise that never went away. We intended to use he shuttle but ... because of their inability to wait a few minutes ended up having to pay for a cab. There was allegedly a complementary breakfast but we could not locate it. I would not stay there again.

The Hotel was nice and the distane to the airport was great. My biggest problem was the parking garage and the lack of ... communication between the garage and the hotel. It is very hard to fnd your way around inside the garage no clear signs of how to get in or out of the place. You could drive around for a long time tring to find a way out.

Hotel couldn't have been better. I was traveling with 3 kids and the two rooms were like a mini-suite. Very clean, very ... comfortable beds. The two flat screen TVs thrilled the kids. Shuttle to O'Hare for the trains to town was convenient. It would have been hard to find a better room at one of the more expensive downtown big name hotels.

The Holiday Inn Select in Rosemont, IL was a good value and the rooms were clean. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. ... They were always available and always responsive. We did not have to wait in line during our visit to any place in the hotel including the front desk and restaurant. I did like the separate bathroom and bedroom, but I would have liked to had more than one chair and a bit more room in between the desk, chair and night stand. They were all squeezed in right next to each other. The location was great with many stores close by. There were two discount drug stores, along with fast food restaurants, middle and upper scale restaurants available in the nearby area. There was easy access to the interstates.

The hotel restaurant is Harry Carrey's Steakhouse, which is fairly high-priced. We did not eat meals at the hotel, but excellent pizza was closeby with convenient delivery to hotel. There was also a family-type restaurant very close to the hotel that was good for breakfast.
