Good Value but Not 4 Star

The hotel is located in a converted apartment building. The Art Deco Deco is nice but the rooms and hallways feel dark. The ... bathroom is too small. Nice try at creating a art deco boutique hotel experience. But its not the best quality. Good Value but not 4 Stars.

Great room at a great price

I was at a conf and the others booked through the school but I got my room $25.00 a night cheaper than they did(with school ... discount). Also I had the best room by far. [...] I had a 5 star hotel stay without the 5 star cost.

The rooms at the hotel were nice and clean. We checked in at 11pm on wednesday only to find out that our king bed room was ... overbooked, even though i was holding the room confirmation email. We were moved to a loft room that had not been renovated, it was nice but only okay and not what we had reserved. They remedied this the following day in got us in the correct room type. They have a great complimentary breakfast every day, not just muffins and toast but bacon, eggs, and other hot foods. There is however no room service for food, except for the appetizers that are served at the bar at night. No big deal as there are plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. My biggest problem is that their courtyard, their main area to sit and relax, had work being done on the fountain. Now, i understand working during the day, but these guys worked until after 9PM each night on thursday and friday and until about 3 on saturday. We were able to sit down in the cortyard on the last day of our vacation which was Saturday. And finally if you want a quite room you should ask for something on the courtyard side. we were situated on the outside of the building next to a fairly busy street. Throughout the night we could hear honking and sirens. No big deal, but it is worth a mention. All said and done, it was a nice and clean hotel with just a few bumps along the way.

Nice location, lacking service
Romantic couple trips Sep 24, 2009
Location was great. We went to the woodruff art center for the Come Fly With Me play which was great. Hotel staff was severly ... lacking. We paid top dollar for parking and weren't offered valet service. The garage was dirty, dark, trashy, wet and very small. There was a begger outside asking for money and cigerettes so I notified the staff who basically blew me off and did nothing about the begger. We paid through orbitz and the hotel charged my card for the room anyway. It took a week for them to refund the money and they acted like I was an idiot.

The hotel is rather unique with its decor. I don't think this hotel is designed for older people, but rather young folks. The ... rooms were small including the restroom. Because our room description was executive room, we expected the room to be larger, but the room was rather small. The room was not meant for a business person because their was no desk not chair to perform work. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and nice television. for some people, this hotel would probably be sufficient; but for us,we were disappointed.

Incredible stay in Atlanta
Love'n Atlanta Aug 30, 2009
The Artmore in mid-town is simply fantastic! The rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff was incredible and very helpful. ... When you walk in the first thing you see is a beautiful sculpture on the wall that changes color, it really sets the tone for this wonderful destination. We walked around town and through the museum right next door. There's an Irish pub two blocks away that is probably the coolest pub I've been to. Awsome!!

I was in town for market. The staff was friendly. The room claimed to be recently renovated. The lobby and courtyard were ... beautiful! However,my room was not as pictured on the website. Not updated at all. The room was spacious with a kitchenette but not even a coffee maker. I found this strange. Late every night the courtyard got very loud. This lasted til 3 am both nights I was there (Saturday and Sunday). I also had left my toothbrush at home. When I called the front desk, they did not have any. There is also not a convenience store or drugstore in walking distance. The hotel did not have matches either. I had a pleasant stay, but I wouldn't say this is a 4 star hotel. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't had been led to believe it was so "rock star".

My wife and I attended a concert at Center Stage, which is conveniently 1 block away, just within walking distance. Be sure ... to review maps of the area, W Peachtree Street is a one way street, so your GPS may try and force you the wrong way if you are coming from I75. The front desk isn't clearly identifiable, so go into the building on the right when you come from the street. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Hotel is also about a 10-15 minute walk from Atlantic Station, a large shopping and restaurant complex.
