Located 2 miles south of the Irvine Spectrum, the Lodge is off the 5 Freeway from the El Toro exit. It is the only hotel in the area located within walking distance of the Laguna Hills Regional Shopping Center anchored by Macys and features many restaurants, specialty stores, and a first run movie theater. Attractions such as Wild Rivers Park and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater are just a couple of exits north on the freeway and Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are no more than 30 minutes.
A business center complete with two computer/printer stations and a small meeting area that seats six as well as a large conference room that is readily available to all guests.

Great location. I use to live in the area. Very safe. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. friendly ... staff. Rooms are very nice. Flat screen TV's ref.& coffee makers. Bathrooms are too small and there is no secondary locking system for the room door. Nice heated pool, and spa area was very clean. My wife and I were the only 2 at the pool. Nice and quite. Great for a family.

We went to CA to visit friends and wanted to stay somewhere that had easy access to their place and places to go...the ... Laguana Hills Lodge was perfect for this. Rooms have recently been remodeled and are very clean. A mall across the street that includes a cute coffee shop. Pool and whirlpool were very clean and nice. Exceeded expectations especially re: cost and what we got.

My wife & I just stayed there for 1 night & 1 day and I find the hotel very comfortable. We also had the room in the building ... right next to the Continental Breakfast Room which made it more easier to walk to the following day. The room is almost perfect except the toilet seat is so narrow probably because it's so close to the door. You see, I'm not a giant but I'm a big man but anyway, overall, I find my stay there very comfortable.

The hotel was clean and ready for us at check-in. The staff helped us with locations of things we needed at the last minute. ... Room was nice size for our taste and needs. The only issue that came up was the front door was warped(not to bif of an issue) and that the city was remodeling a building across the street late at night (the hotel can't control that)

We needed a convenient location for a long weekend stay centralized around water activities, Wild Rivers Water parks and the ... numerous beaches Orange County had to offer. The hotel was across the street from the Mall which made dining enjoyable, not to mention that numerous eating establishments around the area. However, since it was right on a major thoroughfare, sirens and emergency vehicles were common. The heated pool was great and so was the continental breakfast. We stayed in Bldg A 2nd floor, which made it difficult to avoid the sign that suggested that building material may be hazardous to ones health. At least they are honest.

Unbeatable location for the price

We booked this location because it was closed to Camp Pendleton. This hotel looked very nice and the rooms had been ... renovated. The beds were very firm almost like sleeping on boards but we were very tire so it didn't matter much. The only thing we didn't like --- there were stains on the outside of the toilet bowl. I don't know how anyone can miss cleaning it. Other than this, we would book this place again.

Exceeded my expectations

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Most importantly the room was very clean. Newly renovated, newer bathroom, clean sheets, ... flat panel TV (with cable and HBO). Breakfast was nice- continental. Staff was very nice and friendly and were glad to entertain our needs. People cannot walk into two star hotel and expect four star accommodations. This however was way better than two star and great value for the money.

This was the right hotel at the right price and a great location. The room was awesome - coffee, microwave, fridge/freezer, ... iron, hairdryer, cute little balcony, very clean, great showerhead with great water pressure, the free breakfast was even impressive with cereal, fruit, a ton of pastries and breads, hard boiled eggs, and I think the guy toasting the breads was also making pancakes and/or waffles behind the counter but I wasn't sure. There is a BJ's and a Mall in walking distance with sidewalks and crosswalks. We just came out to enjoy the beach but wanted to stay away from the crowds and this was definately the right hotel for a relaxing weekend.

We liked the place, but felt ripped off when we got a phone call offering to swap out our 2 queen room for a king room with a ... roll away bed and a garden view. When i got there they didnt make good on that promise. I got a king room and a roll away but not garden view. Besides that, Nice Place for the money!

The staff was friendly, location was fairly close to ocean, room clean and reasonably priced for the location. However the ... battery in the fire alarm must have been missed during their regular maintenance as it went off in the middle of the nighht. This meant getting redressed, packing up, and reloading the car and having to unload and unpack after being moved (I had to do so on my own as help was not available)to a second room. This of course meant a less than restful night. Other wise seemed to be a nice place.

With the first step out of my car, the beautiful aroma of flowers engulfed me. The grounds are fabulous! Many, many picture ... opportunities. Great pool and hot tub. Located right across the street from the mall. Room was wonderfully decorated and had great fixtures. Very good complimentary breakfast. Very, very relaxing stay. Awesome!
