HAD A GREAT TIME. GOT ALOT OF REST. NEED TV'S IN ALL ROOMS. THE BEST SLEEPING BED THAT A HOTEL CAN HAVE. HAD A GREAT VIEW OF ... THE OCEAN.

Would recommend to a friend!

We were looking to spend a one night getaway oceanfront, with modern furnishings, a kitchenette and a shower tub with soaking ... capacities. We found it all at the 3 Palms. The only negative that we found was that the in-room air conditioner was louder than the sound of the waves outside while falling asleep. We bought food to heat up in the room and prepared for a nice stay-in which the 3 Palms had provided with comfort for our needs.

Very nice location. This hotel could be great if they would do a through cleaning. The cement around the pool needed a good ... powerwashing, dirty looking. (The hotel next door cleaned pools, cement, lounge chairs daily and you could tell). Pool could've been cleaned better also. Rooms are not cleaned very well at all. I think this could be a great place to stay if staff were trained in how to clean appropriately. WE talked to some locals and they recommended eating at Drunken Jack's, Capt Dave's in Murrell's Inlet so we did - great food! Broadway at the Beach is nice - do not recommend "Liberty" restaurant - over priced and foods ok... I would go to Murrell's Inlet to eat. Boardwalk Bill's in Myrtle Beach has great bar prices - $2 bottled beer!

The location was very good the hotel was nice, but the room was small. My room was not cleaned by housekeeping and I always ... had to get my own towels.

So-so stuff: The parking was a bit inconvenient. There were dirty towels still in our room from previous people. Floors not ... very clean. The king bedroom with the tub drained real slow and its trianglar shaped balcony was dumpy, so small that only 1 chair can get on it, looks into the next door hotel and pretty much useless. Only 1 T.V. Pool is not great for adults, more suited for children, easily overcrowded. Good stuff: The wi-fi was great, and has a small pizza/bar place. Easy access to beach. The balcony was nice off the livingroom. Could walk to a variety of places like the Kingdom Amusement park, and Waterpark. A/C worked great. This is a great location if you have kids with you. The pool and lazy river is small enough to keep a good eye on kids.

Parking is off site unless you are handicapped. No skillet provided in "fully equipped kitchen". Only one elevator in ... service on checkout day. Location was great with beautiful view and easy access to the beach and pools. Would recommend only for the view and access to beach.

Not bad, but could be much better

Hotel looks good, but the a/c was the kind where it gets cold, but doesn't remove humidity, so everything felt damp. There ... was virtually no view because the window had an angle. The only view was on the balcony hanging your head over the side. There were no chairs on the balcony. It had a kitchen, but no where to eat. The bed was ok, but the pillows hard as a rock.

when we arrived at the hotel they had not booked us a room, the first room they tried to give us was filthy so they gave us ... an upgrade which was great costumer service.how ever the new room had a very odd lay out so it was a fairly long trip from the bedroom to the living room/kitchen area. the hall leading to the rooms desperately needed to be vacuumed & to get to the pool/beach area you had to go through a parking garage which was strange. the area of the hotel you pull into to check in & unload is tiny with no loop so we got blocked in both checking in & out. I would not stay at this hotel ever again!

I had to ask for wash cloths, ice buckets for the room. maid did not change bed linens, nor clean bathroom sink or counter ... and mop bathroom floor.

Overall a very nice hotel right on the beach, check in took longer than expected didnt have a room ready for us, also the ... parking was down the street from the hotel. The room and location was great only had about 100 feet to go to the beach.

The hotel room was wonder. It was very clean and was a great size for my husband and I. Our room was oceanfront with a ... private balcony which was fabulous. The only complaint I have was our wait while our room was being cleaned for check in. We waited almost an hour after the check in time before we could unpack and settle in our room. Honestly can't beat the price for such a great room, especially for just wanting a getaway trip to enjoy the beach.

The location of the hotel was the only thing that wasnt a problem. First of all the we never had towels and when we asked for ... them it took four hours. The next two days room service never came by. We had to call for towels and trash bags. Neither was ever delivered.

The hotel was advertise as been on ocean front with all rooms having ocean view. Although the hotel was on ocean front, my ... room was next to a parking garage and my only view. The housekeeping fail to clean my room one stay. Staff didn't respond to several of my complaints about refrigerator being inoperative. The freezer and refrigerated sections maximum temperature was room comparable.

Be Careful When Staying Here

This hotel does have a great location, i.e. right on the beach, and three swimming pools plus a spa which is nice. However, ... my experience was marred by three things: 1) I paid for a beach view room on Orbitz (which is supposed to have a balcony), but was given a cheaper room (that still had a beach view but no balcony). My credit card was charged for the more expensive room. I discovered this after it was too late. So, make sure you check WHEN YOU GET THERE that you are getting what you paid for. 2) My room smelled of cigarette smoke, despite the fact that this is a "non-smoking" hotel. 3) This hotel does not have enough parking spots to cover all the rooms. So, make sure you arrive early, and don't make the mistake that I did of driving somewhere for dinner because if you do there may not be a parking spot available when you get back. I won't get into how much of a pain that was but you can probably imagine. Despite all of this, I think I was unlucky (as opposed to the hotel being bad) and hope that other guests generally don't experience what I did.

We stayed in an Ocean Front Studio. The rooms were great! I have to say at first glance I was a little worried the hotel ... itself was a lot smaller than what I thought it would be. After I walked into the lobby I realized I had nothing to worry about! It was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was small but big enough for the 2 of us..and it was really really clean, nice, and modern. This hotel exceeded our expectations it was nicer than some of the 3&4-Star hotels we have stayed at in Myrtle Beach. The pools were kinda small but really nice and since it is a small hotel there is plenty of room in the pools. They were also kept really clean. Over all it was a clean and nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will probably return!

Nice Location - Poor Housekeeping

The hotel seemed to be fairly new. The location was nice. However, our room was not ready until 45 minutes past check-in, ... which was at 4pm. Once we got in the room, cleaning had not been completed. We had to ask repeatedly for bath towels. There was no shower curtain. The halls were dirty and clearly had not been vaccuumed in some time.

Hotel was pretty clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the pools were pretty small and the parking was located in ... three different parking lots across the street which became really inconvenient. Also, they advertise having an ice cream shop, but really it is only a small rolling freezer with ice cream bars in it.
