Great hotel for your money.

Was on a business trip and needed a hotel that was central as there were numerous sites I needed to visit. This worked out ... great. Description said newly renovated and the room was great. The staff was friendly. Would highly recommend.

Our family went to Escondido, CA. to attend a family wedding. Upon arrival to check in the lady checking was friendly. Our ... room was clean and comfortable, the overall hotel was clean, didn't smell and we didn't hear any noise, so we got to rest. Our kids where looking forward to swimming, because it was a hot weekend, however we couldn't go in the pool because it was out of service until Monday. Our kids got sad.

Our room was located right next to the ice machine and elevator. A bit too much traffic and noise for me. The bed and ... pillows were comfortable..a very important part. However, the TV was old, bad reception and very few channels.

A lot of fast food restaurants were near by and a few chain restaurants.

Coco's is across the parking lot from the hotel and offers tasty and reasonably priced meals. There is a mall across the street with several restaurants and there are several restaurants on the same street but on the other side of the freeway entrance.

There is a great shopping plaza just across the street from the hotel, with a number of appealing stores to choose from.

Great hotel for your money.

Pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the location. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. We only had time to sleep there. ... Wish we had had time to use the hot tub................

Bad Weekend at the Comfort Inn

The toliet ran contanstly and the bath tub had water standing in it for most of the stay.I did not shower in my room I used ... my sisters room. I reported it to the front desk and their comment was "we know". This was my sencond time at a Comfort Inn and will never stay there again.

Terrible Hotel - Dirty/Bthroom Broken

Rooms were not ready when we arrived - Bathroom in one room - Shower did not work - Water would not come out of shower ... head. The other room water would not drain and in both rooms - water changed from hot to cold while you were taken a shower. Staff told me after the fact that they knew about the changing of the temperture and had been working on this problem for about a month. Jaccuzzi also did not work. Staff was not helpful stated we needed to take it up with orbitz.

OK, but not worth the price

We stayed here because they allowed dogs (for an additional $25). It was an OK place, but a few things made it less ... enjoyable: 1. strong smell in the room (cleaner, paint, some other chemical?) 2. they ran out of orange juice at the (included) breakfast early in the morning and didn't have a replacement ready 3. noisy 4. the staff had friends hanging around the front, smoking and just generally loitering--not very professional

Good value & Good Location

We went to San Diego for a couple of days primarily to go to Wild Animal Park. This hotel is convenient to the park, is ... close to the freeway, has lots of restaurants nearby and offers a decent continental breakfast in the morning (hard boiled eggs, bagels, cereal, sweet rolls, coffee, juice). The place is older but the rooms have been redone and are all equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. However I most appreciated the staff. The guests above us were extremely noisy and at 1 AM they showed no signs of quieting down so I called the front desk. Within a minute I heard a knock on their door. The guests began to argue loudly with the hotel staff person and I felt a little sorry knowing that they outnumbered him. Fortunately he prevailed and they quieted down.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when I make a stop in CA. The location is very convenient to the freeway and the ... staff is always courteous and friendly. I think they did a recent remodel, and the updates look great!

Good Overnight

This Comfort Inn Escondido, CA. was very accomodating for our needs. We were traveling and did not arrive until 10:00 p.m. ... and left around 9:30 a.m. the next morning. We were too late for the Continental Breakfast offered by the hotel. Our room was very clean. No outside noise level to complain about. The front dest was very accomodation with our check-in as well as we were given very good directions the next morning for our next destination. It was just a quick in and out stay and very satisfied.

We had gone to a concert at Harrah's Rincon and did not want to pay $350 for a one night stay. Escondido was approximately 15 to 20 miles south and decided to drive to that area to get a room at a much more reasonable price.

The Rodeway Inn in Escondido was staffed with friendly professional people who were committed to make your stay comfortable. ... The cleanliness of the facility was more than accceptable and the proximity to our meeting area made it very convenient. The complimentay breakfast available to the guests was exceptional, and the young lady who was assigned to the breakfst room was very professional and very accomodating to all parties - both Business professionals and small children.
