It was a lovely hotel the rooms were very clean and spacious. The lounge area was great with the couch and ottoman. The ... decor of the hotel was nice and simple. The complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was available to keep things fresh. I wish the parking had not been extra and that they had a gift shop with more choices and lower prices than there deli area.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was convenient to great restaurants and shopping. There was some noise because it was ... downtown, but it wasn't too bad. We loved the modern, simple decorating and overall design. The service was good and the staff was friendly. We will be back.

This is a brand new contemporary hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the layout of the room was thoughtful with separate ... areas for dressing, a huge comfy couch, desk area and a oriental look divider by the fabulously comfortable bed. The capitol view out the window was nice, too.

The Best of Downtown Salt Lake City

This is the perfect place to stay in Salt Lake City ! It is right next door to a historic train station that has been made ... into a mall. Lots of shopping and dining, easy to find, free parking and you can't beat the continental breakfast. Trax stops right in front and you can take it for free around downtown Salt Lake.

This Hyatt was in a great location of downtown Salt Lake City, rooms were large and nicely furnished. Staff was very helpful ... and service oriented. Only downfall was noise, room next to us left their tv on all night for two days and you could hear train outside our window.

Very modern, clean, fast free wireless, great breakfast. The lighting in the bathroom was very dark, hard to see while ... showering. Had to pay $10 to park in the mall parking lot, near the hotel.

The Hotel was clean and in a great location close to several resturants, stores and a movie theater. The only issues I had ... was that you have to pay for parking at the hotel (hotel parking is limited) although you could park at a nearby shopping center. Don't know if there was a charge for that parking. The shower was small even for an average sized person.
