The hotel was conveniently located next to a Metro station. Close walking distance to many great restaurants and ... activities. The desk service was faulous, friendly and very helpful for restaurant advice, directions, and options. The pool is very small but the kids had fun. Unfortunately the noise in the pool area echos and kids laughing and yelling echos even more. There was a computer screen with restaurant options but most were not within walking distance of the hotel. Having menus of the restaurants that are close by would be wonderful. Having a computer available for restaurant menus and mapquest directions and maps would have been great but the desk staff helped with that. Breakfast downstairs was alright. It seemed expensive for a continental breakfast but the hot food options were good.

The hotel is located in a good area of D.C.with many restaurants and tourist attractions just a short walk away. However I ... found the rooms to be really small and considering the price, i expected a lot more. The breakfast buffet was good, but a bit pricey. I didn't see the option to include breakfast for an extra $30 when I booked it, however some friends of mine who also booked a room did take advantage of the offer. I don't think i will be staying at this hotel in the future.

I would suggest people to book a hotel far from downtown and take a train to get to the city; finding parking in DC can be very expensive and time consuming.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pool is MUCH smaller than picture indicates. Bummer, since that's one of the reasons ... we chose it. Location good. Circulator bus stops right in front - so great for tourist trip.
