Compared with the Hilton in Myrtle Beach and the Harrah's in Las Vegas, I would go to the Best Western in Redondo Beach ... first! The room was crisp and clean. All me and my teens needed was there and the service was fantastic.

We were recommended the hotel from the wedding family for it's location. We were very pleased over all. The only thing I ... wished for was for the room service to have small coffee caraffe's to send to your room. However, they served it free 24 hours in the lobby. Nice extra touch.

I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms in this location were completely renovated. It needed it, and I am impressed. It ... has really improved the feel and comfort. They spent some money on things that count--new toilet, great shower heads, new bathroom fixtures, new carpet, beds and bedding. It is a definite upgrade. Great location by the beach. Good value.

Recently stayed at the hotel for two nights. Upon arrival to my room, a little bit of mustiness could be smelled, but ... nothing that a little Febreeze and an open window for a little while couldn't cure. So I preceded to open my window and found that the glass was separating from the window frame. When I went downstairs, I told the front desk. by the time I came back up the maintenance person had already fixed the window! That had to be less than 10 minutes total. The walls were a little thin. Could hear the neighbors a little bit, especially the upstairs (stomping on the floor). The front desk was kind enough to get the matter under control quickly (rambunctious unsupervised teens). The room was listed as refurbished, but the look is still slightly dated. The room, however was clean and the beds were comfortable.

My stay at the Best Western Redondo Beach was very pleasant the location is good everything you need is within walking ... distance including the Beach I really enjoyed the Fire Works for 4th of July, they were also within walking distance lots of restraunts to chose from, the staff was very helpful I have never been to Redondo Beach they provided maps and directions to any location I was intrested in.

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and check out late. Lots of places ... within walking distance to eat and enjoy. Beach is about 1/2 mile away and is not a beach for your kids to play in the water as the surf is very rough there.

If you are flying into LAX, don't book your rental car before you arrive. We saved $150 by waiting until we were there rent a car. Enterprise will pick you up at the hotel.

Hotel was great. We had some noisy neighbors toward the end, but what can you do about that? The parking was a little tight ... at times, but everything else was awesome!

Appearance as we drove up was very nice. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. The room was adequate, but there were 2 ... problems. The toilet plumbing was running all night and the sink drain was stopping up and needed attention. I tried to call the hotel operator and get service in the later evening when we returned to the room, but no one answered. Also in the morning early, we heard alot of running around and loud stomping and walking above us from the 2nd floor as we were on the 1st floor right below them. I couldn't sleep anymore. At checkout, We told the front desk to make sure the problems were addressed before another person stayed in the room. We also thought the hotel was closer to the Lobster Fest we had come to Redondo Beach for, but was alittle farther away. We did enjoy the Lobster Fest and plan on coming back next year. I'm not quite sure we'll stay the night again.

I was allowed to upgrade to a hotel room for an additional fee. I paid the additional fee but was dismayed that the ... restaurant was not open that Friday evening, that the continental breakfast was over at 9:00 am when I was told 10:00 am, and that room service was not available on Saturday.
