this was a nice place to stay, but getting in and out of the property was somewhat difficult. Plus, when I ask on line to ... view the rooms, I was shown a suite. When I arrived I was expecting a suite, but was disapointed. I was also expecting complementary breakfast, again, disapointed. It is for these reasons that I could not and would not recommend this place to friends.

We had to used our room towels since there were no pool towels and no staff to be found (minor complaint), and chose to eat ... breakfast away from the hotel since the breakfast buffet is amazingly overpriced (also minor). But getting up to take our showers in the morning to find the last guest's razor still in the bottom of the tub would imply that the bathtub hadn't been cleaned and left me worried what else might not have been clean. Pulling back the bed sheets revealed we had slept on sheets with an old blood stain (I hope it was very old, washed 100 times) and holes in them! YUK!! Being a very non-confrontational person I choked up all the courage I could to approach the manager and got very weak excuses, "I'm sure the tub was clean", and there is nothing I can do about the room charge since you booked third party but I'll refund your movie fee. I actually know people who bring there own sheets on vacation with them. Now I know why. Manager, might have been worth dipping into petty cash to cover this one, but the excuses were a REAL turn off!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
LYNNE' BANNIE Sep 7, 2009
Seeings how this was my very first trip traveling alone, I really enjoyed myself. It was what i needed and then some...I ... almost cried when leaving and wanted to book another night or two. The experience was wonderful. I started out later than inticipated but i phoned them and they said "Oh no problem, your reservation is taking care of, call us back if you have any problems getting here...". Once I got there I did call them and the instructions given led me right to there door and they had my key ready with a smile...That i did like very much. However, It was not pointed out, at least, the different features offered at the resort, i.e.. restaurant, FREE internet svc, pool area...I wanted to check my email since they had internet svc for a small fee. I had to contact a staff member to show me how to work it (ITV), but I was not impressed with it AT ALL. BIG WASTE OF $$$$. Shopping is only five minutes away if walking. You actually have the mall at your door. I'm sure there is more to this area than shopping but I did not want to get lost too many times again...ha ha... it was fun though. The Heart of ATL was only 15-20 away and yes there were plenty of shopping areas to stop at before getting there. BUT OVERALL, I give my experience 4-1/2 STARS. I am actually making plans tonight to re-visit and I plan on lodging in the same hotel.
