one night business trip
business traveler Dec 4, 2009
One night business trip to Springfield. We arrived late and check in was efficient. Nice large flat screen in room. ... Bathroom was clean and well supplied. Breakfast served in atrium which was really nice (both the food and atmosphere). Had an exterior ground floor room with a sliding door to parking lot. This door did not seal well and made the room pretty cold. Heater ran on high all night but room did not get hot. Floor was still really cold in morning.

My son loved the pool area with all of the plants to look at and the little paths to walk on. The rooms were adequate, clean ... but small, for the price paid however there were not enough plug-ins. In order to use anything you had to unplug something else. I would probably stay here again as the location was perfect for our purposes and it was clean, but next time will ask for a room closer to the pool or lobby.

Definitely hit the Bass Pro Shop - Outdoor World. We loved it, even my teenage daughter who thought she would be bored was intrigued and kept interested. We ended up walking around in there for almost three hours - it was amazing. Next time hopefully they have the remodeling done and we can see more.

Bass Pro Shopps is about 5 miles away and easy to find. The Dickerson park zoo is a short drive.

Nice weekend trip to Springfield, MO
VW Bug couple Oct 27, 2009
It is a comfortable room and easy to get to the car where we had are room. It had a very big panel TV which made it very nice ... touch. only thing I did not like that there was not two night stands for both sides of the bed. It was a comfortable bed and lots of pillows. We found out after hearing all the noises the night before that we had "just married" couple next door and I think the whole wedding party stop by. The hotel did have a hot breakfast which was good and a lovely place where you eat our meal which is full of plants & trees & water fall.

We went to a Blues Festival and had a good time. We were tired at the end of each night... The kingsized bed was very ... comfortable, I slept like a baby. The breakfest buffet was convenient too. We had a very pleasant stay.

Good value

We took a quick family trip to Springfield and stayed at the Ramada Oasis. What a beautiful hotel and grounds! It was ... perfect for what we needed. Close to Fantastic Caverns & Dickerson Park Zoo. Little farther to Bass Pro Shops, but still reasonable driving distance. Pools were awesome, good breakfast selection, room was clean and modern, as with rest of hotel. Kids enjoyed themselves and mom/dad were able to relax a little knowing the kids were happy. Hope to stay there again on next trip.

We spent time sightseeing, swimming in the pool at the motel and just relaxing outside our room on the patio close to the ... atrium. The motel was close to all the places we had chosen to see and there were plenty of places to shop and eat. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and didn't spend a lot of money.

A friend had a gig in Springfield three hours away so instead of driving back we thought we'd stay the night. Wish we could ... have stayed longer, I didn't get a chance to explore all the Ramada Oasis had to offer.
