Great looking rooms, very clean. The staff was great. The girl at the front desk, whom I dealt with during check in and ... check out was amazing. She even helped me get directions that my GPS was having a hard time finding.

Visiting brother and sister in law. Just a short trip, however considering amount of time together and what we accomplished ... it was a fruitful visit. Hotel was very clean and rooms very nice.

Beautiful hotel, room and lobby. Nice location. But unfriendly front desk employee. Everthing was nice good amenities but ... unfriendly front desk employee - she didnt even smile once. She didnt gave us a welcome

The grocery store in the next parking lot over is a couple minute walk and has a hot foods section. A couple nights we'd just grab some potatoes and chicken wings and have a late night snack. We also bought a pack of bottled water to avoid the $3.75 per bottle fee at the hotel.

Hotel and rooms were very clean though renovtion was underway at night causing noisy disturbance. Single front desk person ... caused my check-in to be delayed about 30 minutes. (He was helping another guest.) Otherwise, a good deal.

Hotel fit our needs perfectly

This Marriot Courtyard hotel fit our needs almost to a T. The reason for our visit to this area was to see and visit the ... historical monuments and government buildingfs in and around D.C. Our grandson works in downtown D.C. but lives in Fairfax, VA, so he would pick us up every morning on his way to work and we would ride the Metro together. WE found the staff to be very friendly & courteous. The room was always clean and the bed made every day after we had spent all day walking around downtown D.C. We really enjoyed the spa & pool after a long day of sight seeing.

30 minutes to DC by Metro

This hotel is in the perfect location for either business or leisure travel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. ... There are slider doors which open up to either a patio (1st floor) or balcony overlooking a courtyard. There was an outdoor fireplace as well as lounge furniture outside. Housekeeping was very attentive. Check in and out was a breeze. Metro bus stop is right outside the hotel, Metro train park and ride a short drive. Only 1 bistro-type restaurant on-site, opened for dinner only, but there is a grocery store next door as well as several restaurants in walking/driving distance, offering both fast food or sit down meals. I will definitely book this hotel next time I'm visiting D.C.

The hotel's location is perfect. It is easy acess to the high ways which makes getting around easy. It is also close to major ... malls and restaurants for an easy dinning out. The staff are very polite and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. It feels very secured.

My experience staying at the Courtyard by Marriott at Fairfax, VA was a very good one. The room was very comfortable, it had ... wireless and wired internet for free. The staff were very friendly. The food in the hotel was not very good but there are other options outside the hotel. There are a few restaurants nearby. The Vienna/Fairfax/GMU metro station is relatively close to the hotel and it is very easy to travel from there to many Washington DC/Virginia/Maryland locations.

The Courtyard Marriott Fairfax/Fairoaks was very comfortable to stay we stayed over a week and enjoyed all of the amenities. ... The pool and spa were very clean and comfortable. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The availability of the computers in the lobby was great access to the printer was very helpful in mapping out each of our days. The bed was extremely comfortable. The free coffee was also very nice. Having a large grocery store right next store was great and ssince we had a fridge in the room it was nice to be able to have munchies and goodies in our room.Overall this was a very enjoyable vacation and I would definitly stay there again.

I loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful and very helpful for the entire time that we stayed there. It was easy to get to ... DC and MD from this location but far enough away to be a relaxing vacation. It was very very nice.

WORKED FINE FOR OUR STAY IN DC AREA

We requested 2 wake-up calls, 2 different mornings. The first request, staff said she could not hear - my husband louder ... into the phone and then was yelled at being told not to yell at her. 2nd request, another morning, staff was very short with me when I made the request, in fact I felt she hung up on me before I asked for the wake-up call. Needless to say, we did not receive the wake-up the next morning. The phone electronic system wake-up call where we set it did not seem to work, so that is why we called the desk. Also, bathroom fan did not work.

We really enjoyed our stay . The rooms for VERY clean and comfortable. Thought they were a great value . The pool and jacuzzi ... where clean and perfect temperatures. The lobby and resteraunt where very nice, with a little market for snacks. There was a area with computers and printers, and a lounge with a big screen tv and wii video game available to play upon request . The staff was very pleasant and quick to take care of everything and anything, ( check in and check out) All and all I would highly recommend the stay

Right across the street is a strip mall with a couple of nice places to eat, TGIF Friday's , an italian place etc... you can jump right on the express way ,and be in dc in around 25 min or so

The Courtyard by Marriott Fairfax/Fair Oaks was extremely impressive. I loved the fact that this hotel provided a cafe that ... was located in the hotel itself. The pool and fitness center were very nice and spacious. This hotel was right down the street from wonderful shopping and restaurants. The location of this hotel is a central location to Dulles Airport and Washington DC. The hotel room had a large bathtub area and very comfortable bed for sleeping. This hotel even provided complementary internet service, along with printing, which was very useful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone. It was well worth the money.

I was in town to look at apartments for a future move, thus internet access was essential. I picked this hotel based on the ... free wireless and the proximity to highways, and got so much more than expected! Beyond the wireless and location, there was a business center with a large, interactive map and computers that guests were able to print out mapquest directions from. A complete livesafer for apartment hunting!

The Marriott Fair Oaks is an outstanding porperty. The staff is both professional and friendly; unlike many hotels, you're ... not even aware of the cleaning staff handling their many duties. The location is excellent - even for a multiple day stay. There is a well stocked grocery across the parking lot, as well as a large shopping center across the street. A good range of restaurants are available, including a good Italian and several fast food types. Our room was immaculate, and well equipped for the business traveler. The closet was well sized, with mirrored doors to check appearance.
