The hotel is in need of refurbishing carpet and furnishings seem old and overall decor is dark. Not a nice atmosphere in ... room. When is the last time you stayed at a 3 star hotel with a econo spray air jet shower head. Not good.

Excellent location for the price

Would recommend to a friend!

Worked virtually, walked down pier avenue to the beach and had a pleasant dinner in an active area. Just as good service, ... better location and better price than the Holiday Inn Express in Hermosa Beach where I used to stay. I'll stay here again.

I was just looking for a place to sleep while I was moving out of my apartment nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. ... Free breakfast was good! No problems parking! Nice place to stay for a good price!

Wonderful but no Fox News available

The hotel had been really updated since we were there 2 years ago, staff remained friendly and very nice. Breakfast changed ... but was still very good, we love the location and travel brochures were helpful. We always watch Fox News at home and would have appreciated being able to get it, it appears the channel has been blocked out. (maybe that is CA but we don't know for sure) needs to be changed though, we will be back for sure next year and always will stay at Hermosa Quality Inn &U Suites.

I visited California for the first time on a working vacation. It required alot of driving and searching in the L.A. area. ... VERY hectic. This place was AWESOME to come home to after a stressful day for over a week. Perfect place to unwind and regroup. The general area was close to all kinds of shops and restaurants. There is a grocery store right next door..open 24 HOURS!!

Great Location!

We had a great family vacation at Hermosa Beach and stay at the Quality Inn. While there we went to Santa Monica, Malibu, ... Hollywood, Beverly Hills, downtown LA, and to Huntington Beach; we rented a car and all were easy to get to. The area is family friendly and was great with a Ralph's right around the corner. The spa/hot tub was small, but we were usually the only ones there when we used it. The fitness center looked nice, but we were too busy to use it. The staff was frienly and helpful.

My friends and I were going to Hermosa Beach to celebrate my 30th birthday and wanted a hotel that was relatively cheap, in a ... good location and clean. We got all that in this hotel. We really only used to room to sleep and shower/change, but the location was perfect for the price. It is only about a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants/bars & beach of Hermosa. I would definitely return to this hotel for a fun weekend with friends!
