Bed was comfortable, room was warm even though the temperature was adjusted. Elevators were very slow going down, not bad getting on going up. Nice to have Starbucks in the lobby.

4th Street has the House of Blues and other dining/nightlife for a mature crowd. Fat Fish Blue was a lot of fun, there was a blues band that were great! 6th street has bars with a younger crowd, we loved the brewery beer and prices.

Good Hotel but Cleveland wasn't the best

After you see the RockNRoll Hall of Fame, the Goodtime boat tour and the Science museam, there isn't much to do in downtown ... Cleveland. The hotel was a very good one, but because of so few things to do, they should invest in their own fun right at the hotel. The bed was the most comfortable EVER.

Nice stay
Markie Sep 1, 2009
My husband and I went to a pre-season Cleveland Browns game. The hotel room was excellent, but at $260/ night, I would hope ... to expect that. Some things were not advertised before hand, but turned out to be nice: jacuzzi tub in the room, two bathrooms, two flat screen tv's. The room was more like an apartment ...awesome. On the down side, the Orbitz employee who helped book my room told me there was a nightly reception between 5:30-8:00pm every evening, which helped me decide to take the room because this would have included food and a couple of drinks before we went to the game. After arrival, I was informed this was only Monday-Thursday so we didn't get this and had to pay for dinner and drinks. Another down side, we were on the 14th floor, which gave better views, but good luck gettting down the elavator. Only 2 of the 4 elevators were working and when we went to leave, we waited about 20 minutes for the elavator to stop at our floor.

Great location. Short walk to R&R Hall Of Fame. Unfortunately there was a $16.00/day parking fee at the hotel. Also, because ... we booked through a 3rd. party, we had to pay for the breakfast which is normally included in the stay. I will add that it was a pretty hefty charge for it

Great location for the price
Jay Jul 26, 2009
This location is perfect for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or the Warehouse District. It has a great view of the water from ... the parking deck, or some of the rooms. Plus, their shuttle will take you anywhere within a reasonable distance you need to go. They also give great recommendations for restaurants. The only complaints I have are the typical noise from hallways and next door, and the room could have been more cleaner.

The Warehouse District is about 6 blocks away, and a lot of fun, either for a nice meal, or a casual drink or dessert.

This was a stop before we boarded a late train departure. The room was very clean, but a family re-union made for a noisy ... facility. At check-out time, only one staff was available to answer phone calls (which he continually did) and conduct administration activities, which made it difficult to check-out and obtain a receipt.

It was a pleasent stay but,I was not maded aware of the parking charge of $16.00 per day. That was a additional charge until ... I got to Hotel. I waa disapointed with the fact that the PC's were slow and the printer was not working.I ended up spending more for parking. I also ended up spending more money on checking my bag and my husbands bag. I feel it should have been incorprated in the price. Also I was not able to apply my hilton honors to obtain points. The hotel states because I whent thru a third party that maded it uneligable. And as to the car rental I was charged and additional $254.00 dollards to upgraded the car to accommdate my husbands size. In all we spent and addiltional $426.00 dollars more than I haven't planned on. [...] Thanks Ada Concepcion-Bauer

Lakefront Doubletree is hard to find !!
Tim Jun 26, 2009
My teenage daughter and I stayed at this hotel due to its close proximity to The R&R Hall of Fame. It is not well marked from ... the exterior and we drove by it several times before we found the lobby entrance. The room was nice, clean, and the bed comfy. The free shuttle service to the Hard Rock Cafe was nice. Parking was expensive. There was no comp coffee which I think for 4Star hotel should be standard.

We drove several blocks to get something to eat. We ended up at the Glass Towers. The area was nice. They had many events going on in the area for entertainment. Also there was many restuarants and stores around that area. We stopped at the Hard Rock Cafe and the food was good. The only thing I could say would be bad is the cost of everything seemed a little high if you are trying not to spend that much money.
