Unreal Location for the price

While at the hotel i enjoyed an great weekend close to all the action. The streets were filled on halloween. If you stay ... somewhere for halloween this is the place trust me you will be amazed. Chrissy!

Our experience was ok. It was close enough to the places we needed to go. The room was a bit small and only had a TV and a ... refrigerator in terms of appliances. It was fairly clean though.

It's right off of Hollywood Bld so it's pretty close to a lot of the attractions along that strip. Fairly close to shopping, entertainment and some places to eat.

My boyfriend and I went up to Hollywood to go to a bar that we really like with a couple of friends from up there. We picked ... this hotel because it was only a block away. As far as location goes this was a good place to stay. As far as hanging on to our belongings...not so good. After we checked in and dropped off our belongings in the room we went to leave for a little while. Our friend closed the door behind us and heard the door click (typical signal the door was closed) and check the handle to ensure the door was locked. When we came back a couple of hours later our door was wide open. I immediately called the front desk. The clerk answered the phone and was friendly at first, then toward the end of the conversation he actually had the nerve to say, "Well I just don't understand what the big deal is." Really??? You don't? Anyway, turns out that if you do not SLAM the door, it does not close and anyone can make their way in to your room. Thankfully the other guests at the hotel were respectable and nothing was stolen.

I came out to Hollywood with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. The hotel was nicer that I expected and walking ... distance to many night clubs. I was able to get well needed late checkout at 12pm. I would stay here again if I was going to Hollywood and didn't want to spend a lot of money.

Guy at checkin was rude and well rude is the best work to decribe him he practically just threw the key at me and said here ... and i had to ask him the room # and he just was not paying attention.. uhh they need better employees.. Parking was terrible we had to park down the street and pay $30!!!

Well the location was great right off Hollywood blvd where all the fun happens. The staff were friendly. The room was clean ... and nice size, but the air conditioner in 90 degree wheather was not working very well thats was my only problem. But still had great time.

I've stayed at this particular Motel 6 a few times. If you're doing the tourist thing, this location can't be beat. ... Graumann's and the Kodak Theater are only 3 or 4 blocks away. The Rooms are a fair size for the money, and the cleaning staff do a good job. All in all, I would say this Motel is well worth the money!

Be sure to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at "Mel's Diner" at the corner of Highland and Hollywood Blvd. Like stepping back into the '50's, and the food is as good as the atmosphere.

We went to hollywood, beverly hills (all of this stuff), the location was nice but the room was very small and not veru ... comfortable. But it's a good place when you don't want to spend to much money for a short time

This hotel is cheap and has minimum amenities. The location is not so bad and closed to the metro station. The room is not so ... bad but you can hear the footsteps over the room. There are only towels and soap in the bathroom, so you should prepare the other amenities (shampoo and conditioner and body soap and hair drier if you need). The hotel stuff is not so kind and they are young people. However, the price is low, so if you don't want to spend your money to stay and save the money, it is a reasonable hotel. It depends on whatever you would like to think the best thing to have a trip.

MOTEL 6 WAS OK, ESPECIALLY IF YOU JUST NEEDED A PLACE TO CRASH AFTER SPENDING AN AWESOME NIGHT AT CITYWALK. THERE WERE 2 ... FRONT DESK GUYS...ONE WAS GREAT THE OTHER AN ABSOLUTE PIG! IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A NON SMOKING MOTEL, BUT YOU COULD SMELL NOT ONLY CIGARETTES, BUT POT AS WELL. THERES A T.V. IN THE LOBBY, BUT NO SOUND. WHATS THE POINT? ELEVATOR IS THE SLOWEST THING I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. TAKING THE STAIRS WAS MUCH QUICKER.

This place was in a great location for the price. Staff was friendly, rooms weren't anything fancy but they were adequate. ... It's a $15 cab ride to Universal. There are a few restaurants within a block walking distance.. one mexican restaurant and one italian place. There is also a liquor store a half a block away. I would recommend if you are looking for something reasonable.

Expensive for the quality of the motel

Overall the motel was expensive for the quality it provides. It is a run down property and the only good thing about it is ... the location which is about 2-3 blocks from the Kodak Theater and easily accessible from the Highway. They have a limited number of spots in the underground parking (which is $10 per day) and only 1 elevator for the 5 floors. The staff was helpful though and we didn't have any problems on that front. The room was basic with 2 queen beds, no closet just clothes hangers though there was a fridge. The water wasn't so hot and the shower pressure was low. If you are looking for location and just plan to spend the night then its not so bad but there may be better options around.

It's so close to Hollywood Blvd. I only wish they had hair dryer. We checked in really early, 10a.m. And don't worry about ... the check in age, I'm 18 and I had no problem with that. nice room, nice channels on TV and nice staff. Definitely will come back :)

The hotel is quite simple and in a central location. It is certainly acceptable for the money, quite clean, but there is no ... charm or atmosphere. For a centrally located city hotel it is fine, but do not expect too much.
