W Hoboken has a great location right across Manhattan ...it would take us just 15 mins in the PATH trains below to the reach ... NYC. Hoboken itself has lots and lots of Bars and Restaurants which was awesome. The hotels service was excellent ; we even got a free ride in their brand new ACURA MDX. We would highly recommend staying at the W.

Hoboken itself is full of nice restaurants and bars....no need to go to NYC. Hoboken itself is rocking !!!

Some good Some not

Our stay was the Friday night of the AC/DC concert we attended. We checked in to a beautiful room but dark stone bathroom ... floor was suspiciously spotted around the toilet. We notified personnel immediately who took care of the floor while we went to dinner. I didn't mention the not so clean windows. I was too creeped out by the floor to care. Good thing the rest of the hotel seemed clean. The location was fantastic for the skyline view but the angled positioning of the windows gave us full view into each other's seating areas above and below. We drew the curtains somewhat to ensure our privacy just as all our neighbors did, of course thereby minimizing the skyline view as well. The parking situaton was not great. It was valet chaos at the entrance, not long-just long enough to be raise an eyebrow, what with everyone crowded at the doorway waithing for their vehicle. They might invest in a bench or two at least for the seniors or the physically challenged. The room itself comfortable and classy. Loved the comfy king bed. Heard more noise than I thought we should. No voices just the occasional close by thump. Made me wonder how thick the walls were. Breakfast was wonderful! Great service, fab coffee and a great creamy polenta! All in all, a beautiful new hotel w/ a fabulous view in a hip area that earned a couple of strikes. 50 lashes to housekeeping for that unforgiveable oversight (that kind of first impression doesn't fade easily) and to management for not being proactive; I think we should've at least been given another room.

Heard the restaurant was excellent but opted for the tavern across the street for a Guiness and a snack before the concert.

We were there with our grown child to see the 4th of July celebration. They drove($35 a night parking--outrageous even for ... that area) we used public trans-portation --the Path. Couldn`t get a ride to or from the hotel. (3 blocks isn`t far but with luggage difficult for a senior.) Coffee was available from room service only--$7.00 plus $5.00 delivery charge per pot. Beds were super comfortable, but doubt we`ll do it again.

Very swank place. Nightclub draws young folk. Security card to operate elevator was a challenge. House keeping staff knocked ... on the door @ 8:30 AM Saturday. Seems they should have known it was an occupied room. Very nice bed.

New, Unparalleled views & party central
Jersey33 Jun 28, 2009
Unbelievable views at the hotel. Mainly a younger crowd who are looking to have a lot of fun, party, or sightsee in Hoboken ... or NYC. Brand new hotel, so everything is super clean. Great seating area by the window to enjoy the ridiculous views of Manhattan, the Hudson River, and the Jersey waterfront. Would recommend to anyone without any reservations.

Great bars and clubs in the hotel, but walk a block north for more nightlife along the waterfront, or 2 blocks west for the bars on Washington.
