Great Location, Great Hotel
Family of Five Nov 30, 2009
The hotel was perfect. The location was ideal, right next to Faneuil Hall. Easy walking distance with an infant, 4yr, and ... 7yr old. The pool was small, yet warmer than most. The room was spotless and plenty of room for the pack-n-play they brought up. We plan on making this an annual trip.

Parking cost as the hotel is the same as anywhere around Fanueil Hall. As long as your valet-parked car is not parked for more than 24 hours, its a great deal. Also, breakfast would have been $50, but we packaged it with our room for only $20. Great buffet.

Ask at the desk for information on restaurant prices and menus as they can be very pricy. The staff is wonderful for guiding in the right direction.

"A little pricey, but worth the $"

We used this hotel as a post-cruise stay. Arrived at the hotel at 10:A.M., and we were able to check right in to our room. ... The newly renovated rooms were well appointed and the first class service we recieved was appreciated. Across the street from Faneuil Hall and the Freedom Trail. Both the "T" and the water taxi's are a short walk from the front door. Don't miss eating at Legal Seafood across the street, outstanding and plenty of food.

The Longwarf Marriott was one of the most friendly hotels we stayed at while visiting Boston. The rooms were clean and well ... stocked and the location is perfect. A brief walk to Quincy Market, North End and an array of enterment. The Haunted Grave and underground tour was great (funny). Boston is a great town.

Hotel is in a prime location to take advantage of tours (sea and land) as well as walking everywhere on your own. Easy to ... get to the Freedom Trail, the North End, Aquarium, etc. Only fifteen minute cab ride to the airport! Weekend family getway
vrbdiver Jul 17, 2009
After an afternoon of walking along the waterfront shops we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant. Our friendly waitress ... came and took the drink and food order and then proceeded to wait over 90 minutes for burgers and mac-n-cheese. Anyone dining with two small children knows that this is no simple feat. When our food arrived it was cold and dried out as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for the last hour. This was not an isolated incident, our entire dining area was experiencing the same wait. The waitress was very apologetic as she explained there was only one kitchen for the dining room, lounge and the entire hotel room service. Overall this is a great hotel in a excellent location but avoid the in-house food service.

Given the location, take a shot walk to Quincy Market and sample one of the many excellent restaurants and avoid the hotel dining experience.

Fantastic Hotel!!
Mom of 2 boys May 31, 2009
We arrived at the hotel at 10 thirty am. We were greeted by the Valet car service and their friendly service. Upon going to ... the front desk we thought we would have them hold our luggage until check in at 4. We were very pleasantly surprised when they told us our room was all ready for us! This was great after traveling for 4 hours with our children. We requested a cot for one of our children and they immediatly called to have it sent right to our room. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. For instance, when we arrived they offered my children fresh fruit. Also, I forgot to fill my sons juice cup for the morning with apple juice. I checked the vending machines and they only had orange. I asked the front desk for my options and they went into the restaurant(which was closed) and got my son a large cup(with a cover) of apple juice for the morning. And they did it with sincerity. Another highlight was the pool. My children had a fantastic time in this clean, heated , shallow(max 5 ft)indoor pool. It also has a patio with a beautiful view of the Boston Harbor. In the morning we ate at the buffet at the hotel restaurant. It was delicious with something for everyone, even picky children. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want to be right next to the Aquarium(which was so much fun) and the Boston Harbor. I didn't see another hotel in Boston that compared to this fantastic location. We had a wonderful stay and I look forward to staying here again with my family!!

The food in the restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. It may have been a little expensive for us, but it was well worth the money.
