bright, clean, oversize room, one exit from my daughters house who we were visiting. It could only been better if the hotel ... was next door to my doughter.

Overall it was a great experience we found it to be centrally located to alot of places. Would of been nice to have more ... local and detailed information of stores, shopping beach access restuarants.

This hotel is a recent convert from another chain - but it is really clean and the staff were outstanding. Location was ... superb - just off I-5 and very convenient to the friends we were visiting in Encinitas. The only complaint we had was the continental breakfast - it was really bare bones (dry cereals, toast, weird scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy) but we ate out for breakfast 2 of the 3 mornings anyway (try Honey's on E Street in Encinitas - excellent breakfast!) I'd stay here again for business or pleasure if I didn't plan to do much other than sleep here. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. Close to beaches and most other things are within a short walk/drive

Mandarin City is directly across the street. Fabulous chinese food but it is a small place so get there early or be prepared to wait.

the Chart House Resteraunt is just down Hwy 101 in Cardiff and sits near the beach. Good food and great view of the sunset

affordable but very basic

small no frills hotel. staff is friendly but rooms are very basic, no fridge or microwave. Hallways in hotel are not air ... conditioned and the one in the room did not work very well. Beds are very firm, which some people might like. Breakfast buffet very minimal.

The hotel room itself was really nice. I mostly just slept there. I didn't check out any of the amenities like the pool or ... exercise room. It was a mixed welcome from the staff. One of them was super nice and helpful and the older fellow was extremely unfriendly, gruff, and treated as like mold. The room was nice though! and it was a quiet place... and close to the places we visited like La Jolla Shores and Legoland.

We stayed here for an event at the Del Mar Fairgounds. The staff was pleasant and the facilities were neat, clean and modern. ... It's location puts it close to the beach and fairgrounds without paying as much for similar hotels with the same amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for and clean, quiet and affordable value by the beach.

We mostly used the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast. It was a perfect location next to the beach where we had family staying ... and next to encinitas and cardiff where we had family living and working respectively. The hotel was very clean and the room provided everything we needed. The only frustration was when our room keys kept breaking. Twice we had to get new keys.

We were only there one night and it was just fine. The work out room was small but fine. The pool was small but fine. The ... room was clean and stylish, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The front desk employees were helpful.
