Fantastic, Rustic, and Luxurious!

This was a wonderful place to stay. I was there while visiting my daughter, and we had a lodge room with two queen beds. ... The view was of the parking lot, which was about thirty dollars cheaper than the rooms with the views of the lake. Next time, I might spring for the beautiful view! The workout room was small but spotlessly clean, and it had a lovely view of the lake. The pool and spa also overlook the lake. The staff were great and the room was just lovely. It was really big, with its own fireplace. I will definitely stay here again!

The good and the great

We stayed at the Lodge for our 25th anniversary getaway and it was fantastic, relaxing, very friendly and helpful staff with ... a great location to Glacier Ntl Park. Price was about what I expected for a lodge of this caliber and the rooms were very impressive, comfortable, clean and full of extras to make our stay the best it could be. I would highly recommend this lodge to friends, family and anyone else that might be interested in staying for a vacation or otherwise near Glacier.

McKenzie River Pizza Company had great food at a reasonable price and was just 5 minutes from the lodge. The cost of food at the lodge itself (especially the dinner menu) was pricy.

Excellent experience

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room exceeded our expectations. We took out some kayaks and wave runners at ... the marina and had a blast, also there's quite a few other things to do nearby like going to glacier or going horseback riding which I recommend. It was pretty pricey but the great room, friendly staff, and over all experience more than made up for it. We will definitely be back.

Go to the mambo italiano restaurant in whitefish, good food, good vibe, and best of all you get to color on the tablecloth!

Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Would not recommend walking during winter as snowfall is heavy, but easy walk spring-fall.
