Terrible Experiance!
Annoyed customer Nov 1, 2009
This hotel was terrible. The front desk staff are incredably rude and not helpful. Their policy online says they accept pets ... and after calling to verify this, when I arrived the hotel said they did not. The rooms were very dirty and again the staff were absolutly AWFUL! I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

The hotel staff was nice, the room was clean although the decor is 80's style. Room dose have microwave and fridge. Would ... like to see more hot items on breakfast bar. The hotel is on the edge of town, but the town is small and we were able to walk to all shops and resturants.

No frills, but surprisingly pleasant
Weightforward Sep 19, 2009
We went to Helen for some fly fishing and got about the cheapest rate we could find, thinking that we would get there late, ... get up early, take a shower, and that's about it. Which is pretty much what we did, but then the wives decided to tag along to see the sights, and the rain set in to ruin the fishing. Imagine our surprise that, never having seen the motel, we found it to be a good, solid deal for the money. Everything worked, so it was just a good, basic place to stay. We got adjoining rooms at a great rate, and I have to say the breakfast was better than we have gotten at places that have Express in their names. I would recommend it as completely functional and adequate for a night or two. No problems.

Paul's has the best steak, but best time to go is during the week. Terrible karaoke and smoke smell on the weekends.

Great value
lovehelen Jul 14, 2009
Rooms very nicely designed and well-kept. Other guests very noisy and inconsiderate (smoking, trash on balcony). Staff ... knocked on every door of upper floor saying there was a noise complaint and wondering what each guest was doing - rather disruptive and unprofessional. Otherwise great value and good location away from all the traffic.
