Staff was very nice....let us store luggage when we arrived early...check in early..Older hotel but clean..one guest we met, ... said she comes back every year for 35 years.....food very good in hotel...drugstore within walking distance.

This was a trip with my friends to stay only one night. Room was alright and internet was really good. Definately exceed my ... expectation. However, swimming pool wasn't very clean and Had to pay for the parking. Other than these, the whole stay in this Inn was good. Staffs were nice but breakfast is kinda expensive.

variety of restaurants around the corner, offering very very good food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend El Ranchero Grande, Sazon & the in hotel restaurant Parilla 79.

If your just looking for some place to lay your head and good beach location this is the place to go. Nothing special it ... serves its purpose. Parking is municipal parking so everyone uses it and if it's saturday leave late in the day and come back in the evening because u will not find parking

The only thing good that I can say about the hotel is the location. The property is beautiful on the outside. However, the ... rooms are small, and they smell. The water in the bath tub was rust red. The pool was not clean on Monday and the tables and furniture were not set up. Upon check out I was charged for an additional $5 per day for hair dryer, refig, and safe. There was also an additional charge of $6.42 per day for parking. The staff was neither clean nor kind.

Received a nice room with ocean view and large balcony. Nice staff, good location, wide variety of restaurants and fast food ... within short walking distance. Only downside was the hidden costs for the refrigerator and room safe although these were not requested in the reservation. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would visit it again. Overall great value for the money.

GREAT LOCATION for the price! Quieter area, perfect for relaxing. Spent our vacation on memorial day weekend, which is the ... busiest weekend for miami beach. The beach wasnt over crowded, even on a Saturday. The hotel staff was very friendly & accomodating. Rooms are a little small but are perfect for couples, especially if you book a room with the single queen bed. South beach is only a 20 minute ride away by bus for very low bus fares (buses run about every 15 minutes). Great places to eat & bike/scooter rentals are right around the corner.

Good location! Just next to the beach... and like 15 min. to south beach If you a looking for just a room to stay then it's ... perfect! I kind off just go in town from mornings and coming back in the night... I didn't really stay in the room all day...

they were very friendly at this hotel. not the best place to stay at and not the worst.only thing I didnt like was when I ... booked my trip it said all taxes and fees Are included yet we had to pay 37.00 more per room for a "courtesy" for having a microwave and refridgerator....I would have rather paid $37.00 more per room for a hotel in a better location that has those amenities as "standard".

unexpected add on cost

Paid some unexpected costs. Told that I would have a wake-up call so I could move car and not get a ticket (got one) after ... arriving at 3am. Didn't happened and told it's nothing they could do (night person wrote down to call, but did not.) The pool, which was most important to kids was small and dirty and not located in a good place.

The beach was right across the road and the hotel offers beach towels. You are getting exactly what you are paying for. There ... are not much stuff to do around, but you can take a bus to go Downtown or to South Beach. The building is kind of old and bathrooms need remodeling. It was very average.

This is a hotel whose glory years were long ago. The hotel is old, the carpets are dirty and worn, walls need painting, and ... the rooms were small. It is in serious need of a major renovation. Not sure how it claims to be a first class hotel. Obviously, Orbitz doesn't validate the claims of the hotels it allows to list on it's site. The hotel is not on the beach as I had thought; you must cross the street to get to the ocean. I had requested, and paid for, a room with a view of the ocean, instead I had a wonderful view of the roof tops of the buildings next door. It was a miserable experience, I will not stay there again.

Great value for money, if you plan to throw your luggage in the room and hit Miami beach which is right in front of the hotel ... - pronto ! Lincoln Street and other hotspots arent too far which is a big plus. This place is a bit on the old side (looking at its upkeep!). Rooms/service wasn't bad. If you are looking for a fancy-schmancy place, give this a miss ! All in all you really get what you pay for !

Within a short walk are variety of dining and shopping choices. The beach, and rinse-off showers, are a couple hundred feet away, including a life guard tower. The beach is an area of land that is yet to be developed(defiled)by hi-rise towers. If you want sun, sand and some peace & quiet, this is where you want to be in Miami Beach.
