Great relaxing weekend.
Casual traveller Oct 26, 2009
Very swank. Bed was super comfortable. Room was a little small, but no big deal. Some noise on Friday and Saturday night ... from other guests partying in their rooms, although the hotel was definitely proactive in resolving this.

Atlanta is definitely a driving city. Not much to walk to, the distances were a bit much, and no real good sidewalks.

Go to Dante's jazz club across the street, which is a large wooden sailing ship, with a moat, with live crocodiles in it, INSIDE a building! The music is great. Also, there are two high end malls within walking distance. If you can afford it. I picked up a woman's sandal and read $745 on the sole, and asked the clerk if that was for one shoe or for the pair. Also, there is a super-hip nightclub on the roof of the W Hotel. (You get a free pass if you are staying at the W.) It was chic and loud and a little self-impressed. I'm too old for that kind of thing, but the under-30 crowd seemed to thrive on it.

Complete Garbage Hotel
Michael S. Morrison Aug 26, 2009
This hotel is located in a good spot, however next door is the Westin, the Ritz, etc. which also have good spots. I cannot ... tell you how poorly the hotel is run. Obviously, it prefers to be a nightclub, and not a hotel. The room was exceedingly small. Additionally, in no particular order the things that I found offensive were: charging $30 for parking which was not advertised on Orbitz; finding the housekeepers dirty cleaning rags in my suitcase!!!; the beds do not have fitted sheets so the cover sheet scrunches up underneath you; the shower pressure is restricted so much that you cannot get adequately washed up; and, the housekeepers knock on the door on your check out date at 10am even if the "do not disturb" sign is up. The hotel completely ruined my Atlanta business trip. If you want to visit their nightclub do so, but do not get hoodwinked by staying in this garbage hotel. What a disappointment...

nice hotel, great service, very loud
business traveller Aug 21, 2009
On a business trip near Buckhead, the location was great, right in the middle of Buckhead. The check in girl and concierge ... were great, very friendly and informative. I didn't go to the lobby bar, but it seemed very cool. The only negatives were that it was very noisy on the floor. My room was pretty far away from the elevator but I could here it everytime it stopped on my floor. I could also hear everytime a door opened. I also thought valet at 30$ was pretty high. The valets were also very pleasant.

Quirky, hip and comfortable

Great Location. Excellent restaurant. Super friendly and helpful staff. Elegantly contemporary decor. Room was ... comfortable. Quiet guests (except for an occasional slamming door). Minor complaint: wall in shower stall was too small, resulting in lots of water on the floor.

New hotel
Tamika Nov 23, 2008
The hotel was nice, I took my husband for a birthday gift. We visited their first week of operation so the staff seemed to ... still be in training. We didn't get the correct room upon check in and were told we had to wait for a possible king room.when we finally got a room, another guest was given the same room and came on in our occupied room... Very scary!! Our phone didn't work and shower door caused entire bathroom floor to get wet. Rooms were nice since they were brand new. Appreciated the 1 time experience, don't think I will return.
