Nice hotel! Very modern. Nice room. Great pool! They just finished a remodel so the place is very upscale and clean. ... Friendly staff, great door people, Very classy bar.

Hotel was great and helpful, also the bed was so comfortable, i had a great night sleep!! Our next stop Santa Barbara, 4 star ... hotel, beds were not as comfortable, nor was the room as nice as the shangri-la

Hotel or nightclub ???

The Hotel itself is in a great location, has a good pool area and loads of potential. Unfortunately the hotel management ... seems to have distracted by the desire to turn the pool area into a 'hot' spot. The pool staff were rude/unhelpful, the service unbelievably slow (ie had to wait for an hour for a drink, asked for it 3 times too) and the food was very ordinary once you eventually got it. Management should look after their guests first, local 'celebrities' second. Extremely disappointed.

If you like a pool scene and music blaring around the hot tub well into the night, this is the spot for you.

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. It will be even better when the pool area and restaurant renovation is complete. ... Hotel staff are extremely congenial and most accomodating.

Unbeatable location for the price

It's a beautiful hotel with excellent service. We got a great rate because they are undergoing constuction on thier pool ... area and their restaurants weren't open. Both the pool and reastaurants looked like they were going to be really nice. You can't beat the views and location.
