Relaxing place to stay at great price.
Convention Traveller Oct 7, 2009
The hotel offers you a nice room with kitchen facilities, space and comfort. Very clean. The bed was very comfortable. You ... are in a community environment ... sidewalk to your romm rather than a long hall. Vegas weather makes that a plus. It is simple and away from the craziness of the strip, which I found a nice break. If you want the intensity, not the place for you.

Good clean hotel within a 10 min walk from the strip or bus ride from the Hard Rock cafe across the road. loved not beeing ... over looked by the bigger hotels. The only problem was with the road works outside which meant getting in and out of hotel was a bit of a pain but not the hotels fault. Would come back again.

Get out of the hotel hallways
2 for travel Sep 14, 2009
It was so great to get out of the crowded hallways and lobbies of the large hotels. There was a very peacfull feeling about ... this place as soon as you walked into the lobby. No long check in/out lines. When walking to your room instead of a long carpeted hallway, you had trees, grass, birds, stars overhead at night, a gentel winding walkway. The view out the windows were of trees, grass; not the high rise next door or the busy street below. With a short inexpensive cab ride or a 15 min walk you were in the middle of the strip.

"Bow and Wow"
Daddio Sep 13, 2009
First impression "Wow" conviently located just off the heavy traffic of the strip near Flamingo, when you first drive up, ... the resort is very impressive. You enter and check in and still impressed with how nice things are and the friendly staff..Prompt and curtious..Walk between the row of buildings past the beautiful landscaping, the 3 pools and jacuzzi. Even have a nice Gazebo for weddings..(you get excited) Second impression ("Bow") Room is large like a small appartment, now it gets bad..turn on tv, cannot get any channels (never could get someone to fix) , tried to take a shower? no water pressure and plumbing was fighting me..(frustration) light sockets in lamps and ceiling fixtures lose or broken..furniture was thread bare.. screaming, angry upstairs neighbors at 2:00 a.m. We thought this would be a nice change from the Palace Station (wrong) rooms need complete renovation.

Alexis has a nice cafe. The steak & shrimp dinner special with a glass of wine was good & only $10.99. The Hard Rock Casino/Hotel is across the street for more dining & entertainment options. We liked being away from the Strip traffic & congestion. Alexis also has no gaming, which is also nice.

SHOOBOX Jul 16, 2009
From the beginning when they did not have a room with the proper amount of beds I should have turned to leave, but when we ... settled on a room that with a pull out couch for the 2nd bed the AC did not work!!! Sure the maintenance people tried to fix the AC but it went off about every three hours and required and visit for repairs. And the water was never cold, only scalding hot water in the low flow shower heads.
