we went with high expectations as i have both worked at HoJos and stayed at HoJos in the past. we were goinna be in the ... Memphis area for 2 days so we needed someplace to provide us with comfort, affordability, friendliness and the necessisities for daily hygene care. the first room we were assigned to wasnt clean AT ALL. the carpet wasnt vac'd, the mirrors were dirty, toilet not cleaned, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling above the beds, etc, etc.... called the front desk and she assigned us to a diff room which was just a cpl doors down so we thought ok. we'll check it out. walked in the door and it smelled like cat urine. not to mention that it was as unclean as the other room. called the front desk AGAIN and tho she was apologetic, this had already left a VERY bad impression on us. she assigned us to what she termed 'the last choice'. ok, we got to that room and tho it was just slightly cleaner, it still wasnt clean to our expectations. MAAAAN, i know we arent staying at no 3,4 or 5 star place but this is ridiculous.. for these 2 days we had NO HOT WATER! id have gladly gone to another place but our conversation with Orbitz upon booking was that we could NOT back out of our booking no matter what.

The hotel location was good. However the room had a musty midewy smell to it. Had to get fabreeze to get the smell out. It ... looked like there was mildew in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. They had cereal, bagels, bisquit and gravey and milke, oj, apple juice and coffee.

The hotel location is great. The drive to Beal Street was great. Didn't have to deal with the traffic until we got to the ... middle the action. Use the brochures located in the hotel lobby.

Hotel was in a quiet location just off the interstate. we enjoyed our stay staff very friendly. Room was an average room with ... refrigerator and microwave very good deal for the Money we paid.

NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE

I didnt have high expectations but actually was surprised by the hotel. Yes it wasnt spotless but I had my basic needs met. ... Bed could have been a bit more comfortable. But I didn't have any problems with bugs and sheets were very clean. The lobby was very nice, breakfast was average but really glad they had a computer to use free to the hotel guests, that I was very happy with. Staff was very friendly. Could have been better lit around the property. And would have preferred to be up toward the front not in the way back of the hotel But I did enjoy my stay

we arrived really late (2 am) and rang the night bell and was immediately helped out, which was really nice. the outside of ... the rooms are less than desirable, leading one to think the inside would be just as bad. but the rooms were nice. the air conditioning worked incredibly well. however, the humidity of the rooms made the floor feel damp. the complimentary breakfast was ok, at best. but the staff was great

Great place for a Girls weekend Get away

Everything was fine and perfect for the Girls Get Away Weekend we had planned. Applebees was right next door a long with ... some fast food places as well. The staff was great and there were no porblems with the room or anything else. We would come back again next year for sure.

Beale Street was the place to be for some Nightlife entertainment. We were able to go and enjoy all the life music and the entire atmosphere. One word of advice get in before 9:30 or 10PM so you won't have to pay the cover charges and if everyone is not 21 you may not have to get your id checked either.

Beale Street was the place to be for some Nightlife entertainment. We were able to go and enjoy all the life music and the entire atmosphere. One word of advice get in before 9:30 or 10PM so you won't have to pay the cover charges and if everyone is not 21 you may not have to get your id checked either.
