I came to Atlanta for a week long conference. This hotel was maybe a half a block away from the conference hotel (Hyatt ... Regency), and yet the room was $100 less per night. There were plenty of restaurants close by. The room had a great design. Although the size of the room was probably only a little bigger than an average room, the design made it feel more like a suite. Typically when you come into a room, you've got the bathroom and closet section, then it opens to a boxy room with a bed or two, and maybe a small desk. This room had a sitting area as you came in on the right with a sectional couch (I think part was a sleeper). To the left was a bar area with coffee/tea, and a mini fridge. Once past this, on the left were the two beds, and on the right was the sink, bathroom, and closet area. The tub and toilet area was pretty small, but I didn't have a problem with it. Near the outside wall, there was also a desk with a comfortable chair. The room also had a 42" flat screen TV. It's nice to be able to sit on a couch with an end table to watch TV rather than always sitting on the bed. There were two phones, and one of them was cordless. It was nice to sit on the couch while chatting to my family. The included breakfast was a little sparse, but I could have ordered bacon and eggs if I had wanted to pay extra. Finally, I was approached 3 times in the area by people asking for money, but I didn't feel unsafe. There was a fairly obvious police presence keeping the immediate area safe.

There's a small brewery right next to the hotel, and I thought the food was great for the reasonable price.

If you are going to a braves game, they have a shuttle that takes you to the Underground, which you can then transfer onto another shuttle that takes you to the game. These shuttles have a specific path blocked off for them. There is a catch. The shuttle from the underground to the game will cost $1.75 per person (around trip).

Mini Vacation
Lil Miss Wendy Aug 6, 2009
The hotel is in walking distance to the GA Aquarium and World of Coca Cola. When we checked into our room, it smelled like ... smoke. They said that it was because of the restaurant next door, but they were happy to move us to the other side of the building. That rooms smell fresh and clean. Like most people said, there is a daily parking fee of $22 if you want to park in their parking lot. However, there is other parking garages that is $13 a day. There is plenty of shops and resturants in walking distance. The hotel provided free wi-fi in the rooms and there is a nice 42" flat screen tv. Great modern touch.

Great location for downtown Atlanta
Mom Jun 24, 2009
The location was great and the price was reasonable. The free breakfast was very nice and a definite plus to our stay and ... room rate. The room was very large and had a large flat screen TV. We were very pleased with the accomodations. Also, the free shuttle around downtown was wonderful and was unexpected. That should be in the litterature about the hote. It's a real selling point.

Business traveler May 21, 2009
I was attending a meeting in Atlanta. I found the hotel to be the perfect place to stay. The service staff was top notch - ... every single person I encountered was great and very helpful. Room was clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay there again! And, within walking distance to where I wanted to be.
