Down by the Bay. Centrally located in the high-tech city of Emeryville, the Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Bay Bridge is convenient to both downtown San Francisco and Oakland. Also, the Napa and Sonoma Valleys are a scenic drive from our newly renovated hotel.
Recreation at its Best. Splash, soak and work out all of the stresses of the day in our outdoor heated pool and whirlpool. The options continue. There are nearby activities such as golf, tennis, indoor rock climbing, batting cages, and sports fishing.
No smog. No smoke. The Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Bay Bridge is 100% non-smoking. Breathe in the fresh air and take in the surrounding views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Berkeley Hills. Feeling empty-handed? Grab a cup of Seattlea

My experience at Four Points, Emeryville
EMJ Aug 11, 2009
1. When we arrived, we were given a non-smoking room that has a big cigarette smoking smell. When we complained, staff right ... away changed our room to a better smelling one. 2. Prior to arrival, the manager was not willing to change our accomodation to arriving one day earlier (without rebooking) since we booked with Cheap Tickets, despite of 2 telephone requests by Cheap Tickets' customer service represenatative. Manager told us should always book with the hotel instead of through Cheap Tickets, because his rates are cheaper and he will allow any changes if booked directly with the hotel.

This was a great find. We wanted something just outside SF, but not too far away. I definitely think we found one of the ... cleanest, nicest places for the price. It was no top of the line hotel like I expected, but I was pleasantly surprise. We had no problems whatsoever. It was close to a mall, gas, and restaurants. The staff was helpful and able to answer questions about the area. Plus there was free parking!

Berkeley mom Aug 3, 2009
The service was excellent and the staff friendly during check in/out. They needed to know, however, more about public ... transportation to sites. Also, the breakfast cafe was too expensive. Oatmeal for $6.00. For the price and status this hotel projects, breakfast should be included. Denny's across the street was 1/2 priced.

Disappointing
Iron Mike May 27, 2009
The bathroom was a mess--someone else's hair was not cleaned up, the floor was sticky, and the hot water took forever to ... arrive. The air conditioning/heating unit was so loud that I had to leave the fan running all night so as not to be awakened by the noisy start-up each time it cycled on and off. The room was small. The fitness center opened at 6 AM, but the tiny pool did not open until 8 AM--too late to be useful.

Hang your hat while visiting Berkeley
Super Aunt May 25, 2009
Smallest hotel room I have experienced since London, England. Hot water did not reach either the sink or the shower for one ... and one-half minutes. I timed it. This was every time I turned on the water. The hotel claims to be a green hotel, yet there is this tremendous waste of water daily.

Our Stay at the Sheraton San Francisco
Alternative Family Apr 28, 2009
The staff was wonderful but the room was not so clean especially the places where you hands touch like the light switch, and ... the closet handles, and sink fixtures (YUCK). We were also given the worst view and I truly know it was because we were an alternative couple of color. When we asked for a better location we were told that there were none. But there were, and when we pointed that out they first mentioned last min cancelations then when I said on an entire floor the person just dropped her head down and said she was sorry. If you just need a place to rest your head and move on this hotel will work for that. Other than that find another place until these people learn that money is green no matter the hand it comes from.

Just so so,
Sara Mar 10, 2009
I was given a handicap room at the end of a long hallway and am not handicapped. No tub, shower curtain leaked onto floor so ... much so that I had to place clean towels on floor to mop the drainage from my shower. The room was noisy for two reasons: 1) Outside the window was a busy/noisy street, 2) The heater was necessary but way too loud, kept me waking up all night as it cycled. The positive for this hotel was that parking was free. In the future I'd look elsewhere to stay if I had other lodging needs in Emeryville, Ca. Oh, the restaurant/bar was closed by 10:00 pm, and the restaurant across the parking lot had gone out of business.

Comfortable rooms
Yadira Nov 22, 2008
I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton Bay Bridge for an interview in the Oakland area. The room was very comfortable and had ... I greatly appreciated that the hotel provides free internet. It's located in an area that provides good access to the city and there are many shopping options around the hotel. The only compaint that I would have is that on my last morning I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant before heading to the aiport. The food is good but overpriced. I should have just gone to the Denny's across the street. Otherwise, the staff are very nice and accessible and the hotel is clean and secure.

Perfect Location
Susan Oct 20, 2008
Making the proper hotel selection can be difficult when faced with the unknown. My choice of the Four Points by Sheraton ... proved to be fortuitous and I look forward to a return visit. The front desk staff was helpful and the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Access to a computer and fax allowed me to conduct my business without interruption. The central location in Emeryville was a wonderful plus. I was able to walk to restaurants and the beautiful new East Bay Mall area and freeway access couldn't have been more convenient.

Beautifully landscaped, it is a great place to walk and the retail mix is interesting to browse. The upper level contains a mix of dining options. There are cupcakes to die for in the bake shop.

Dolores Jul 10, 2008
This hotel was very well located for my business needs. Parking space was one of the highlights to chose it. The staff ... was very courteous and friendly. Location and closeness to several stores is also quite attractive if time is an issue when on a business trip. The room was extremelly comfortable and internet access was a plus for this trip. I would gladly reccommend this hotel to friends.

If you're looking for a place to stay near Emeryville this hotel's an excellent choice. It's reasonably priced and excellent ... value for money. They have gym and pool facilities and their rooms are top quality. The only gripe I have was that the staff helping me with my check in was slightly rude. Other than that, I had a great stay there.

Good Place for Business Travelers

The Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Bay Bridge, EMERYVILLE, CA is a good place to stay for business travelers. Easy ... access to the Bay Bridge and surrounding markets. Free Internet is a good thing. Hotel was quiet even though it is in a very busy area. Hotel staff was nice.

There are a collection of branded restaurants around the area - walkable if necessary - but I was not sure of the safety of the neighborhood so I would drive.
