Good Location - Average Hotel
Disney Nov 30, 2009
The hotel was in a great location - Just a few blocks from Downtown Disney, and only minutes away from just about every ... Disney attraction, every possible resturaunt, grocery store, gas station that you can imagine. The hotel service was excellent. We arrived into a clean room. However the sheets were dirty and the television did not work. I advised the staff about these issues, and they quickly resolved. The pool area was below average. The tower of the hotel blocked the sun from 2:00 pm until the remainder of the day. How have they not noticed this?!!? If you are simply seeking an affordable hotel in a good location - this is it. Also, be aware of the $8/day Disney grounds charge in addition to the hotel fee.

They milk you with hidden fees
Magritte Nov 23, 2009
Restaurant is low quality. Seems good enough after raped by Disney. Pool is small for hotel this size. Beds are too small for ... two people unless it is a king. Balcony doors do not open except for less than a foot.Although they front Disney as if they are a Disney Resort, they are NOT, and Extra Magic Hours or restaurant priority do not apply. Place was clean and convenient.Read their policies-they sneak every fee possible. For example room service charges not just a 18% service charge, but also a delivery fee. They will always add on Resort fee and parking fee so expect $16 per day plus tax on whatever quoted.Internet is also about $10 per day. No ice on every floor. Only on 1-11, weird. My room had no closet but a chiffaro, and hard to put your soap or towels anywhere in bathroom.

Good location; Staff is rude
Family Guy Nov 16, 2009
The staff was unpleasant; The hotel charges for parking $8.00 for self park per day or $16 for valet parking per day; on top ... of that, there are resort fees; internet fees - $10 per day and several taxes. The traditional room was on the ground floor...I asked the staff to give us the same room, but on the higher floor...they charged us additional money and we got a room on the third floor facing the garbage. We stayed there for one night...I was not in the mood to deal with the rude staff. Overall, I was very dissapointed in my stay at this hotel and I am never planning to stay there again.

Scotty Nov 13, 2009
First of all you didn't tell me anywhere that there would be a parking charge or resort tax on top of what I already paid of ... $17 a night!!! then the tub/shower would have been impossible for an elderly person to get into or use. One has to hold on to the shower curtain to climb in and there are no grab bars. The rim is very wide and high. The soap was extremely poor quality. Days In has better....

Great location
Disneyfan2000 Nov 13, 2009
Great location, good service and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in the older section with a pool view that had a great ... little balcony which opened to let in the great weather! The beds were good but not over the top great. We thought the value, location, and service were excellent. The bar food was good for a quick bite coming in from all of the attractions. They have a Disney bus but you can also walk to Downtown Disney Marketplace. We would recommend this hotel to those not concerned with new and glitzy, those looking for a good base to enjoy your vacation from with good value.

Lydia Nov 10, 2009
We went on a little getaway weekend to celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary, the room was nice and quite, but air ... conditioning did not seem to be working very well, it was hot, so we had to open the glass doors so that the outside air would come in. At the time of checking out the representative from the hotel never asked how our stay was either, was a little dissapointed at that also. THey also charged a resort fee and parking, was not very happy about that alos, we have never stayed in hotels in Orlando and had to pay a resort fee or parking, will never stay there again.

Stayed at the Country Inn & Suites first which was excellent. Moved here for a change. Room ok,basic. Could hear every noise ... from the rooms either side of us. Don't agree with the charges for car parking(lucky we used the buses) On check out the hotel tried to charge us $50 A NIGHT for fridge instead of a one off fee. Will not return.Thought their prices were a bit dear. We eat at another hotel every am, as it was better and cheaper.

Great Stay
Alex & Family Oct 26, 2009
This was a very nice and clean hotel close to the Walt Disney World attractions. My family required two adjoining rooms, and ... the hotel was great in accommodating us, including early check-in. Walking distance to Downtown Disney, with bus service to Disney's four theme parks, and all for a great price. My only complaint would be the internet access -- I refuse to pay $10 per day, when so many other places offer it for free.

Stay here if you are a Dowontown Disney fan. There are few hotels closer. But if you want to visit the park, stay at a on-site WDW resort, the buses come every 20 minutes and they do have Extra Magic Hours.
