Pictures can be deceiving

The major thing that I look for is cleanliness. And, this hotel is rated tops in this area as far as I am concerned. I could ... not find anything dirty. However, my disappointment is that my expectation for the Hyatt was too high, especially for the cost. I believe I got more from the lesser expensive hotels. Immediately upon walking into the lobby, I was disappointed. The lobby did not have any appealing features. The elevators smelled badly. The room was bland (not cozy). There was no microwave, no DVD player/VCR, and poor closet space. It was difficult to make it a home away from home for the six days that I was there. Also, the hotel was difficult to find especially at night because the sign is small and obscured by bushes/trees and the hotel itself is well hidden by trees.

Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful!!! The room size was very nice. However, as I walked into the room there was an odd ... smell. Parts of the tile and tub was mildewed. The A/C kept me up...a little noisy. Overall, it was decent. I may be somewhat picky being that I have stayed in some pretty nice hotels. While the lobby and the overall decor was nice, I don't know if I would plan on returning

Excellent place to stay
Kim Aug 18, 2009
I was in Norcross for an art festival at the trade center. This hotel was convenient, quiet and very nice. The hotel staff ... were overall very helpful and pleasant. The room was spotless and large and great--large couch with a throw blanket, 42 inch tv with cable, mini-fridge and coffee maker, and very comfortable bed. I have no complaints about the room whatsoever. My only negative experience was getting a cup of coffee downstairs. The free breakfast coffee and bar had already closed. I ordered a plain cup of coffee in the Starbucks grande size cup, allegedly Starbucks brand... The cost was $4.25-ouch. Twice what you would pay at Starbucks.

The staff was very friendly! The hotel was right off the highway, which was convenient. There were several malls and stores in ... the vicinity, which was good. the interstate was near by, which made a trip to downtown Atlanta easy to get to.

Great staff@
Michael - Business traveler Jul 27, 2009
I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The hotel was conveniently located on the north side of Atlanta which saved me ... from sitting in traffic as I traveled to my client locations. There are ample restaurants nearby as well as an upscale shopping mall just up the road about 2 minutes. I was very happy with the accommodations in that the staff was VERY attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. You can't beat the 42" HD-TV and the sectional couch was wonderful to relax on after a long day working. I would stay here again.
