Room was very roomy and well outfitted. Great flat screen TV. Non-smoking room had a very slight musty or smoky odor. ... Heard garbage truck very early. Breakfast was nicely done. Overall, quite satisfactory.

The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was a very quiet hotel and the bed was super comfortable. ... The price was pretty good for a 3 night stay as well. The TV I was quite surprised about because it was so big. They had free Wi-Fi which was a big plus considering I needed my computer a lot. The only problem I honestly had was the continental breakfast was a bit small but they did have a kiosk you could order food from 24hrs, but I didn't bother considering it might have been pricey. The other thing was the elevators. The elevators sound like they are about to break and I had one instance where I pushed my level and the door didn't close and the elevator slowly started to go up. Kind of creeped me out. Anyways overall this hotel was fabulous and I plan to stay here again sometime! Thanks for everything Hyatt!

If you want to see all of the Historic areas of Richmond, this is a great place to stay, away from the noise of downtown with easy access to I-64 and several major roads. Most of the shopping and dining in the local area near the hotel is new and upscale with major high end national retailers and restaurant chains (e.g. Nordstrom, Whole Foods, Cheesecake Factory, among lots of very nice local shops and restaurants).

Primarily a business traveler hotel during the week, great rates on the weekends if you want to explore Richmond, central VA, ... etc. Lots of good restaurants nearby, several within walking distance of the parking lot. New upscale Short Pump Town Center (outdoor mall) is a quick drive up the road along with many new shops and restaurants in the area. Very convenient to I-64 and downtown Richmond as well.

This hotel was much nicer than the 3 star rating Orbits gave it - I was highly impressed. My wife booked it for me monment ... before checking in and it was already to go when I got there. The room was nice and clean and it was beautiful. I recommend this hotel to any travler.

I loved the fact that there was a sectional couch and living area in our room. Not to mention their snack bar was awesome ... with friendly staff. I do however wish they had Ice Machienes on every floor. They did not have one on our floor.

The attendant who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with directions to places we wanted to visit. Everything was ... downhill from there. Our shower had blonde hair in it. Our linen was dingy and the floor had not been vacuumed. The bathroom is VERY SMALL. When we went to the front desk to check out, we had to wait 15 minutes for a clerk. The entire lobby was unattended. Housekeeping people walked through SEVERAL times but no one asked if we needed help or made a comment that they would get someone to the desk. When someone finally came, she acted as if she had been disturbed. We expected more from the Hyatt name - - we were extremely disapppointed.
