The resort was awesome. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are extremely spacious and very well decorated. ... We absolutely loved the movie theater within the resort. Overall, it is an unbeatable place and the prices are GREAT!!! Cannot wait to stay again at the resort.

You may need to call for directions. Our GPS didn't recognize the address and they said they have gotten a few calls from other guests who also had trouble with the GPS recognizing the address because the hotel is new.

Good, inexpensive restaurants not far from the resort. Mickey Mouse world was about 10-15 minutes away. The location is perfectly away from all the bustle of the tourist traps but near enough to enjoy a great time if the goal is to put money into the local metro Orlando economy and enjoy the touristy locations.

Awesome Orlando Home away from home!

Fantastic room, spacious with plenty of room for a family of 4. The rooms were huge! Full kitchen and two full bathrooms. ... Tons of storage. This was the perfect place to get away, yet close to all the attractions that Orlando has to offer. The pool and grounds were very nice. Staff was friendly and attentive. Request a room on the habitat side as I here it can be a little noisy near the Avalon Road side.

This hotel has condominium rooms that are spacious and clean. We had the 3 bedroom that was so nice! The staff was so ... friendly. The hotel is only 1 1/2 years old and so everything was like new and they keep the hotel very clean. There is internet access available. They no longer have the free breakfast, but they do offer coffee with flavored creams in the morning. The price was so low for the big rooms we didn't mind going out for breakfast. This is close to Disney.

Gracious front desk ([...] was a gentleman)...one of the best resorts my wife and I have been to for either a brief stay or ... week's stay...the location was quiet and the decor was clean, bright, and elegantly minimalist. I plan to return again!

This was a GORGEOUS Resort/Hotel. We had the 3BR suite, I would say it was close to 1200-1400 sq ft. Huge. Very clean and ... quiet place to stay. They even have a movie theater on 1st floor, where you can chose your own movie and showtime from a long list of great movies...We have 2 children, so the Movie Theater was a perfect match--- Kids loved it. (We were the only ones in the theater) Only a few downsides--VERY MINOR---you will need to bring a hair dryer and your own pillows or pillowcases (if you don't already do so) since the threadcount on sheetset/pillow cases was very low. (scratchy) Also, there were no extra blankets in the closets, no towels at the gym or sauna or pool. But if you can overlook those minor details---(as I can) then you will truly enjoy your stay. FYI---Free Cont Breakfast was simply an apple or muffin, no drinks, but there is a breakfast buffet down the street for pretty cheap price. Also, there was security walking up and down the halls at nite, just for safety which made me feel great. We will def go back again!

Great stay at Palisades

We go to Orlando at least 3 times per year since we live less than 2 hours away. We have stayed at MANY hotels but this was ... the best yet. The 2 bdrm suite was huge & plenty of space for a family of four with everyone having some private space too. Even my kids commented on how clean & new everything was too which was major! Because we spent so much time at the theme parks we didn't have much time in the suite but it would have been more than comfortable to spend a lot of time there. We didn't even use the pool but it looked gorgeous. We liked that it was a bit off the beaten path after experiencing the crowds at Disney. But there are plenty of eating places, etc VERY nearby as it's just off 92 which is a main drag in the area. Also liked the secure garage parking & the screened balcony which was huge! I would highly recommnend these accomodations to anyone & it was a short drive to the Disney parks too w/o having to get on I-4. I am still amazed at how cheap it was for the such amazing & spacious suites. I can only figure it's due to the housekeeping which is an extra charge - this would only be a consideration if you were staying for a week perhaps. We only stayed 2 nights so not having a maid make the bed, etc. was NO problem - I prefer the excellent accomodations & price over daily maid service any day!

Absolutely Wonderful

We went to disney for five days. This hotel was wonderful. It was clean, had a full service kitchen and washer and dryer. It ... was a huge condo!! We were almost the only ones there!! It is in a quiet location, only about 10 or so miles from disney. Every thing was right there, food, shopping, etc. I could not have asked for a better room for the price. Continental breakfast was not that good so we just bought a box of donuts. That was the only bad thing.

GREATEST HOTEL/RESORT WE EVER STAYED AT!

This was an amazing surprise when we arrived. We got a great deal on this 2 bedroom suite. The rooms are enourmous in ... size. There are huge walk-in closest, each bedroom with it's own bathroom, a COMPLETE kitchen, a washing machine & dryer in the room, awesome size screened-in balkony, and dining area with 4 chairs, TV in each bedroom and of course the family room. Very clean suite. You will need to pay extar for any room cleaning if you want fresh towels and/or your beds made. We only stayed 1 night, so we didn't need it, but even if you stay longer, you can wash your own towels and bedsheets in the room if needed. The resort is in a very quit location about 10 miles from Disney Themeparks. There are fast food retaurants, other restaurants, a Walgreens, a Public Supermarket and a Super Target near by (within 5 miles or less). The place a a gem for staying in Orlando for anywhere from 1 night to 1 or 2 weeks. It's in a quiet, beautiful location of the beaten paths, which gives you some piece and quietness after all the hustle & noise of an Orlando vacation. The continental breakfast is minimal, basically just bagels, cereal, some fruit as well as juice, milk and coffee). They have very reasonable rom service as well as some pizze places that deliver for a very reasonable price.

As mentioned above, a Publix Supermarket, a Suypertarget and a Walgreens, plus many restaurants and located within a short drive of the resort. So if you plan on a longer stay at the hotel, you can do all your shopping there and prepare your own breakfast and dinners in your room, due to the fact that you have a COMPLETE kitchen, with a large size refrigator in your room.

Was able to relax and watch TV, go to the pool.(Something i don't do much of) Wished there was a hotel shuttle from the ... airport( paid a lot to take a cab), shuttle to the parks and other attractions around town. My third trip,a long time from the last trip. My daughters first celebrating her 8th birthday.Great trip otherwise.

Our 25th High school class reunion. This place was great - for all of us on a budget, the cost was amazing for what we got. ... We could cook full meals in our rooms. We used a conference room one day away from the regular coming and going areas of the hotel. We have said that if we get back to Orlando, we would stay here. It was a little far from the airport, but had many restaurants, shopping and parks within 5 minutes.
