We were shocked at the condition of our room. The carpet was simply disgusting and the room smelled awfully. Additionally ... the parking areas were poorly lit and appeared unsafe. We went immediately back to the hotel office and said we didn't want to stay there and requested to be refunded. They would not agree to a refund even though we told them the room was unsanitary and smelled horribly. So we "checked out" and went to another hotel.

The hotel was easy to get to, had plenty of parking, & was very near both fast food & appropriately priced finer dining. The ... desk clerk could NOT have been any nicer. He was also very efficient & accomodating. Our room was very clean & safe / comfortable. All you REALLY need in a hotel. BUT, a hair dryer and / or small coffee maker would have topped it all off. Otherwise, it was just about perfect. Thanks!

It was close proximity to Pepperdine and inexpensive. Those were my only requirements. The shower lacked water pressue but ... that was my only complaint. It is a budget hotel so don't expect the best but I will be staying there again.

This is my second stay at the Calabasas Good Nite Inn for a short business trip (a shower, bed and TV are all I need at ... night). And while it's not the Ritz, the price, LOCATION and pleasant and helpful staff make it just FINE! There is a pool and hot tub I didn't know about on my first stay... It's much more reasonable than the other hotel / motels in the area that are three times the price!!

Another very hot day in the Valley, but super cool in my neat and tidy room at a great rate! I could have spent three times ... the money and been two miles away, but there was a super market, food establishments (Mc D'+ others) within walking distance and a very friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for a cheap, clean get away, just over the hill from Malibu, this is it! And a beautiful drive to Malibu to lunch or play at the beach.

Order pizza, pasta and greek salad in from Michael's just up the street. Great hand tossed crust. For a few bucks more than Dominos- you can't go wrong! I spent some of my room savings and had a great meal. Only bummer was no refrigerator in the room for leftovers, but I had brought my cooler for cocktails-so I was ok. Ladies- Don't forget your hairdryer- none provided.

Rooms are very small (just enough room for the baby's "Pack 'N' Play")and minimalistic, i.e. there are no towel racks in the ... room (though they ask you to hang your towel on a towel rack if you can use it again), no chairs or table (other than a small desk and desk chair), no microwave or frig. In other words, not very family friendly. If you choose to stay here, ask for a room with a new air conditioner as the air conditioner in one of our rooms was old and not functioning properly. If I were a single business individual and planned on using the room only for sleeping, I would probably stay here again as the beds were comfortable and the pillows were the best I have ever had at a motel. And, the rooms are very quite appearing to be well insulated against sound. Linens apppeared to be clean though the towels were small. However, the carpet was very dirty,(someone needs to teach hotel maintainence that just because a carpet is dark doesn't mean the dirt can stay) and there was mold in the shower and hair clogging the drain (but plenty of hot water). Would I stay here again, no.

I really love it!! if you go to Malibu like me is very good price if you compare with Malibu hotel's cost is to much ... expensive right there and is only 14 miles to Malibu and like 40 minuts to Universal Satudios driving.

The stay was as confortable as it could ever get for under $65. Room was small, good bed and just clean in general. It has a ... plus... If you plan to go, come or pass through Mali u, you get to drive through an awesome canyon road. As a Floridian I found it very amusing!!

We just wanted to stay at a hotel one night because we didn't want to drive all the way back home from the beach. The ... location is very quiet and peaceful and there are a lot of local restaurants. The rooms are a little outdated but at least they're clean and you get a little more than what you pay for. :)

We were merely passing by, but the motel suited us well. It was easy to find (just off hwy 101) and clean, but rather basic ... and our room was both tiny and a little noisy. No special touches, but I would recommend it to those in search of a basic but clean place to stay on their way into or out from LA and Malibu in particular.

It looks good for the fair price. Rooms had a mini-fridge. There were also Self-pay washing machines available in the ... lobby-common area. Only negative thing is parking. Though they've got free parking, parking anything bigger than a mini-cooper would be a problem due to the congested parking lanes.

LA is the entertainment hub. I was in the S F Valley and was close enough to the Getty to drive surface streets back to Ventura Blvd. Go to Ventura Blvd. and find some place interesting to eat.
