Smoke Station
Vedra Oct 31, 2009
My sister and me went to Vegas, mostly because it is half way from San Diego to the Bryce canyon National Park. We were for ... the most happy with the hotel, however, we did request a non smoking room, which we did not get. Secondly, although I am not a gambler, I did prefer to drive 15 miles to Cesars Palace to gamble. One more thing, although it did state that there will be a complimentary cocktail upon check in, the truth is-you get a coupon, if you want your drink, you will have to pay taxs&tip :(

The location si the best thing about the hotel. The mall is nearby as well as walmart and several good restaurants ( Red ... Lobster, Sushi, Del Taco, Denny's IHOP) in case you don't want to eat buffet food- although it is an awesome buffet. There are also small fast food restaurants in the hotel Quiznos, Panda Express, FatBurger, Starbucks, Ben and Jerry's.

Great off the strip hotel
Mr.Alright Aug 11, 2009
This hotel is great. They offer a lot of things to do for all ages. The hotel is conveniently located next to the 93 which ... allows for great access to the city. You can be at the strip in 15 mins or so, but then come back to a slightly toned down place when you've had your fill. There's a mall right across the street along with plenty of other shopping right around the area. Our room was spotless. The staff was great. The food was good. Can't really complain. If you're in your crazy 20's this might not be the place for you, but if you're a family, a couple, even on business and looking for a "Vegas" style place without the "Vegas" madness, this place is perfect for you.
Traveler type: Couples
If you're in to rock climbing and sports, the DICK's store right across the street in the mall has a 2 story rock climing wall you can try, and then maybe try some Buffalo Wild Wings afterwards to get back those burned calories.

Hidden charges
none Jul 5, 2009
Everthing was fine with the Hotel except the fact at check in they added an extra $15.00 per night saying it is a hotel ... service charge for internet, that I did not want, They said it is not an option and Orbits should have told us about it. The check in girl was rude. It made me really upset thinking my trip was paid for and they did that.

Very helpful staff, very clean rooms. Thin wall to hallway allowed much noise to come through to room - people talking very ... loudly, and even walking could be heard. Played some slots, got a taxi, slept. Very nice and friendly.

DK Jun 1, 2009
We combined leisure with business. Looked this hotel up on internet. Looked good to us and prices were definetly right. We ... arrived, the staff was great, the room was very clean. The only thing it did not have was a coffee maker in the room. I would stay there again if in Vegas. I would definetly not stay on the strip.

Rick May 20, 2009

Pleasant Surprise
Hospital Visitor May 2, 2009
We expected it to be smaller than it was and liked the size. It wasn't so spread out that it took you forever to get from ... the room to the casino & restraunts. We were there to visit at a nearby hospital so the location was great. The ice machine on our floor never worked. Food and service was great wherever we ate! The hotel was good value for the money although the slot machines weren't very generous! We would stay there again.
