Excellent Service, comfortable rooms...

I found the hotel to be clean and tidy. The beds/pillows were great. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I was provided a ... free upgrade to a Jr. Suite. The restaurant has casual fare which was fine. The pool was not large but there were not many people around so it was fine. The free Shuttle to shopping and dining was excellent and "on demand". I would recommend this hotel.

The only complaint I have is the restaurant. I ordered grilled salmon and I could'nt even eat it,I said something to the ... waiter,but he looked at me with a stare.I ended up paying for a meal I did not eat!

Marvelous Hotel and Well Groom Property

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel for a weekend Fri-Mon (11-13-09 thru 11-16-09) because i was celebrating my ... birthday. The Hotel property is gorgeous it has beautiful plants sceenry. The hotel provides a shuttle that picks up guess from the airport and also drop you off when you are returning to the airport from your trip. The shuttle takes you and pick you up from City Place which is about five minutes away from the hotel. City Place is a big mall that has lots of entertainment, stores for shopping and restuarants. The hotel is located in a very convienent location where there is something for everyone. I enjoyed my room, the hotel property landscape, and the pool area was surrounded with beautiful flowers and plants and the pool size was average. The gym was very small but clean and the equipments that were there are modern. The only problem i had was the restuarant food. Not the best food, so i would recommend that you eat elsewhere. That includes breakfast. Also the hotel rooms has only two sceenry a view facing the front of the beautiful property landscape plants, palm tress, flowers, and a pond with a water falls and the other view shows the highway and buildings down town West Palm Beach. A word of advise, notify the front desk clerks of which viewing you would like. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay. I stayed in a King none smoking and the room was large and clean. The staff were friendly, the property was immaculatly clean inside and out, the property was quite and peaceful great for relaxation anytime of the day. I had a marvelous birthday weekend staying at the Doubletree and i highly recommend it to anyone. Also, you can serf the internet/print for free in the lobby. Absolutely gorgeous and immaculate hotel !!!! Great for any type of vacation or trips....
