service was first class. staff friendly and helpful. the cleaning crew was very dilligent. bad news. drove up and down ... college ave 3x before I noticed the hotel. the hotel ought to leave a landmark or reference, ie behind the gas station, diagionally across the steak house etc. although the hotel was remodeled, it was noisy from a infrastructure standpoint, the pipes were banging at night and can hear the steam and water whooshing thru the pipes. the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom, literally next to the entrance door to the accomodation. other than that, it was ok

The hotel was newly remodeled and in wonderful condition. The staff was great, the shuttle to and from the airport, prompt. 2 ... resturants and 2 fast food joints within walking distance. No local entertainment and for the cost of the cab I should have rented a car, or watched the television. If you have luggage ask for the first floor!

Even though this is an old establishment, don't be discouraged. They have updated and remodeled it and for the price and ... service you can't beat it. My room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The soap and shampoos were first class. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my request for a shuttle to the airport. Shuttle service was fantastic. We enjoyed our visit to Milwaukee - the construction near the hotel was not their fault. The exit/bridge were closed so we ... had to drive around a bit further to get on and off the freeway. Our bed had a spring in the middle of the bed would could feel if we rolled to the middle of the bed. We managed to avoid it most of the night.

We went for the Brewers game and I looked around on Orbitz for good local hotels. This one was affordable and in a somewhat ... close location. Nothing that will blow you away, but if you're just looking for a cheaper place to stay without sacrificing quality then this is a good place. One thing of note, when I checked in, the front desk lady said something along the lines of " It's a good thing you reserved ahead of time because I accidentally filled a couple rooms tonight that were supposed to be reserved online, those people will be mad!" I don't even know why she told me that, but she probably should've kept it to herself. Also the next morning when I went to check out, no front desk employees were anywhere to be seen. I stood there for a good 5 minutes and I eventually called the hotel from my cell phone while standing there, the clerk emerged from the bathroom at that point. I understand nature called, but SOMEONE should've been out there.

Free spiders with every stay!

I needed a place to stay close to the airport. Room rate was fair but bathroom needed some attention. Mold along corners in ... shower area and I was surprised at the size and quantity of the spiders in there. Come on guys, this isn't a third world country (yet).

Management didn't known or understand how to access and process web-based charges. Managmeent was not very professional, ... hotel lack basic toilet/grooming items.No elevator.

cOULD NEVER GET SOMEONE AT THE FRONT DESK CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS ALWAYS WITHOUT FOOD ABOUT A QTR OF AN HOUR AFTER ... OPENED. HOTEL HAD BAD SMELL TO IT.
