I used to live about 2 miles away and have not been to Tucson since 2002. The location is perfect for the Foothills/Sabino ... Canyon area. Would recommend the Sheraton on Grant road as an alternative.

Donald May 28, 2008
The room was clean, friendly reception, but: rules posted everywhhere about....not removing breakfast items to the room or ... suffer a $10 fee....cleaning up after yourself at the coffee machine....and staff who gave the impression of being enforcers of the rules. I did not feel welcomed, certainly didn't feel trusted. I won't be back.

Ugh!!!
susan Mar 30, 2008
COmfortable, nice pool and spa facilities, good full breakfast, good location. But,,,,The carpeting was so dirty we could ... not walk on it with bare feet. My 4 yr old had to have his feet washed off everytime he went barefooted. They also had a towel problem. Rarely did they have enough towels clean to get through the day. IF they renovated the rooms and recarpeted them, we would consider staying again.

The Ramada Foothills Inn and Suites is situated in a very nice part of Tucson, near Sabino Canyon and the Catalina ... Mountains. The pool is located in a courtyard and was maintained very well. Staff were courteous and responded to several requests immediately. Breakfasts were super.

The motel is located a short drive from Sabino Canyon, a wonderful experience for hiking or riding the tram part way up the canyon. Scenery is magnificant.

The Ramada Foothills Inn & Suites was only 15 minutes from the Tucson Int. Airport. The view of the hills was beautiful and ... the check-in was quick and easy. We enjoyed the free breakfasts and the social hour of drinks and snacks (2 free for each night).

Better Last Year
Larissa Apr 18, 2007
Ramada Foothills is in need of room refurbishments. The furniture and bedding were very worn. Cigarette burns on blanket in ... a non smoking room, and furniture with damaged lamination. Water damage on ceiling. The pool was small and limited seating around it. Our disappointment is probably because last year we were very pleased with our room, which was a suite, this year's room was not. On the flip side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool area and other public areas were very well kept, and the breakfast was good.
