The location was very close to downtown Redding and the nearby offramps made it very quick to get around, however the ... location itself is not very pretty. It's basically a few convenience stores and a lot of concrete. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok, not great.

It's a nice hotel, but there is no elevator to the second floor, and carrying a lot of luggage up might not be pleasant. It ... was very hot in Redding that day, and the you could feel it in the stairwells, but the room AC worked great, and the pool was nice. The free breakfast looked pretty good, but when some lady used the hard-boiled egg tongs to get bread/bagels/whatever she was getting I got pretty grossed out, and we decided to go out to a restaurant instead. It was also a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend, and the breakfast room was pretty crowded, maybe a weekday wouldn't have been so bad. The one thing that really bugs the hell out of me is water pressure in the shower, but this happens at almost every hotel. The water pressure is so weak, it takes about 20-30 minutes to take a shower when it takes me 5 minutes at home. We stayed 2 nights, and the second morning when we were leaving I didn't even want to waste my time with that frustration. Overall, I think it's an ok hotel, and if I had to stay in a hotel in Redding again I would probably stay there, but hopefully I'll never have to stay in Redding again :) Staff was friendly, the room was clean, most everything was appropriate.

Great Hotel

Mainly just someplace to sleep, but did use the pool one day with some family that came to visit. Was pleasantly surprised ... with the breakfast. It was great, with plenty of everything. Waffles were great. Would recommend to anyone.

Great visit to Redding!

Staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. We had our Sea-Doo PWC's with us and the staff wanted to know how we ... liked Lake Shasta. Great breakfast assortment. Only downside was the noise from the many motorcycles and semi's that used the offramp. Quieted down after 10PM Will stay again!

When I first arrived I was given a room that was'nt clean, front desk put me in another room, it was clean, but the maid ... service at this motel is less than standard. Everything else was fine. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpfull.
