My reservation was botched. The hotel claimed that they upgraded my room to a room overlooking the parking lot. What a ... terrible experience. I faxed them the reservation that I had from cheap hotels they claimed that they did not receive my fax. spent an extensive amount of time with cheap hotels and the hotel correcting the reservation. I reserved a city view room, and what I had was a view of a tree. The front desk manager arrogance and lack of cooperation ruined my vacation. I plan to write to Raffles hotels themselves. I should receive a refund and credit.
