Great Quick Overnight Stay
Nicole Dec 6, 2009
Great hotel! It was in a convenient location in relation to Universal Studios as well as other parts of town. I really ... enjoyed how comfortable and clean the rooms were. The quality of the rooms were great with the flat screen tv's, nice amount of space, and pretty bathrooms. The valet parking was convenient. It is great for couples on a quick getaway. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was not free wi-fi in the rooms.

A Great Place to Reconnect
LuckyCouple Nov 23, 2009
Overall hotel service is excellent. The bed could be a little softer, but still quite comfortable. Very large room. TV ... could be a bit larger (about 42 inches). Never dined at the restaurant, although the in-room menu was a bit pricey. This is a valet-only parking property, which was a little of a surprise, but far from a huge inconvenience. Facilities are geared towards the business crowd and the couples looking to get away from the kids. Concierge was very helpful in getting some extra amenities awaiting for us at the room before check-in. My beloved was quite impressed.

Great location for the convention center
Business traveler Oct 29, 2009
We worked an event at the convention center, it was great, we could walk across the way to the conv center and didn't need to ... rent a car or taxi. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant and bar, great service and really good food.

Pio Pio is a good Colombian/Peruvian Restaurant. The Montaņero platter includes rice, beans, chicharron, steak, sweet plaintains, avocado, arepa, and fried egg. Carmelas offers a Brasilian buffet that is reasonably priced too. These two restaurants aren't really highlighted in the tourist information for dining on/near International drive.

Friendly accomodating staff, gave me a very late checkout since I was a Starwood member, which they didn't have to honor ... since it was booked on Orbitz.

Good Hotel
Maestrita Aug 5, 2009
The hotel was very nice.I did find it interesting that all dishes, silverware, and appliances(from a blender to a toaster) ... were supplied in the room but no type of dishtowel or paper towel. I didn't use those items, but I guess housekeeping is responsible for all cleanup. However, if I return to Orlando for a conference I will not be staying at the Westin Imagine Orlando. The primary reason is because of the location. It is neither on the bus line nor the I-Ride Trolley line. So, without a car, this is really not a good hotel. I'm from Chicago, so my mode of transportation is often public transportation(buses & subway). My conference provided a shuttle everyday from the hotel to the convention center from 6am-9pm. So, I took the bus and the trolley from the convention center to explore Orlando,to do grocery shopping, and to go to different restaurants. Also, even with a car, there is a mandatory valet parking fee. The hotel is pretty secluded. I don't think a mandatory $18 a day parking fee is needed. People should be able to park their own cars. For some reason, I couldn't make local($1 for 30 min)calls in my room. I did alert staff, but I'm not sure if it was fixed because I just started using my cell phone.
