The hotel is rated #1 on another site but I don't get it. Yes, the rooms are clean, but everything else was just average. The ... hotel is located right next to I-4 (noisy) my room was right next to the top floor elevators (noisy). The sleep number beds are not for everyone (me). Even discounting the negatives I have listed it is only average with slightly updated furnishings/electronics.

GREAT!!
LIZZY Oct 29, 2009
My family and I went to Universal and Busch Gardens for the day and horror night as well, it was right on I-4 which is VERY ... convenient. I stayed a few nights on an upper floor and one night in a lower floor and the wireless internet was very poor in both rooms, other than that we had the best time. Did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, there is so much to do in Orlando, but it's definitely the place to be for a good night sleep to recuperate for the next day. Loved the hotel

Great alternative to park hotels
Weview Oct 24, 2009
Much much cheaper than the park hotels and far higher quality than those in the parks of comparable price. If you can ... tolerate a short drive or adhere to the hotel's complimentary shuttle schedules, this is an excellent choice.

Great hotel in a great location
sarasota resident Oct 5, 2009
The location was fantastic--minutes from Epcot and Universal Studios. The room was large and very clean, with a beautiful ... bathroom, microwave oven and fridge. Nice room amenities, including Sleep Number beds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night, so we didn't get to try the fitness room or pool, but they looked great. This hotel is 100% non-smoking and we would definitely stay there again.

We visited Orlando again for Disney World visit and Florida was our port of call for our family cruise. The Radisson Hotel ... experience was really great altough coming from the east side of the street to turn into the hotel you would have to travel a distance to go around and get back on the street to turn into the hotel. the bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will recommend the hote.

Great location
Anna Aug 29, 2009
The hotel is right off the highway and very close to the Disney World campus. We got hit with a timeshare offer right away ... but were smart enough to decline right away. My daughter asked for a high floor so we were on the top floor (the 8th). I asked for a quiet room. We did not hear the highway or the neighbors. However, there was some kind of motor on the roof or in the utility closet nearby that kept me awake the first night. By then, we were all unpacked and had a full schedule so I didn't request a different room. Luckily, after a whole day in Disney I slept like a baby through that darn motor. The room was big and clean. Room service was timely although the food quality was not top notch (fresh berries were not so fresh). I would stay there again but be more careful about room selection.

Radisson Hotel Orlando
Monymoo Jul 31, 2009
Very clean and close to the Disney parks, Downtown Disney, Univeral and Sea World. Lots of dining available within walking ... distance. You can park at Downtown Disney and use the Disney buses to all of the parks. Staff was courteous and helpful, no complaints. The free chocolate chip cookies after 3pm at the desk were a sweet treat when returning to the hotel after a long day. Exceptional hotel, I highly recommend it!

A Nice Stay at the Radisson-LBV
The Holland Family Travelers Jul 12, 2009
A nice, new hotel that was convenient to everything at WDW. The elevators were a bit noisy, even from three rooms down the ... hall, but aside from that, everything was in great shape, and made for an easy, relaxing trip.
Traveler type: Family
Don't exit WDW at the Downtown Disney exit to get back to this hotel. To make it easier to get back to the hotel, get on I-4 at one of the other WDW exits, then get off at exit 68. This way, you don't have to go all the way down to the next intersection to turn around.

Good family hotel, close to disney
SouthFL_Family Jun 28, 2009
Living two hours from Orlando, we frequently visit and stay at various locations to find the best deals. This hotel is ... outside the north entrance to Downtown Disney Marketplace. There are many restaurants within walking distance including a waffle house in the parking lot. One word of advice, the hotel will provide a coupon for a free "welcome" package at another desk in the lobby. This is a pitch for a discounted stay with theme park tickets on your next visit. If you are not interested, then don't spend your 20 minutes listening to the deal. All disney parks are within 15 minutes drive time. The only problem was on our last day, the room key cards were disabled. The clerk blamed our mobile phones and claimed they can erase them. The beds were very comfortable as they are sleep number beds. Overall, we were please and would rate this a great value for the price.

Very Nice Place
Me Jun 20, 2009
They said it was remodeled 1 yr ago, and it looked fantastic. Awesome deal for $100/night. I'd probably say this was the ... best bang for the buck I've ever had with a hotel. Very close to Disney World too. They even had an HD flatscreen TV in the room and even a sleep number bed, incredible! Only problems: 1) Had problems with the wi-fi and had to borrow a network cable from the front desk to use my computer in the room. 2) One young man at the front desk was not the most e'personable'. Rest of staff was good. 3) SKIP THE 'WELCOME PACKAGE' at the little 'visitor info' desk. I think they try to sell you stuff, but may be able to get discounts to Disney. We skipped it. 4) No complimentary breakfast.
