Nice hotel!
Pamela Oct 29, 2009
The hotel itself was very nice. The location was nice and peaceful. The air conditioner did not work and even at the lowest ... setting, we still woke up sweating. I reported it to the front office when we left because we really didn't notice it until our last night. The staff was wonderful and the dining areas around the hotel were great. I would stay again but would actually prefer to stay on the south side of Tahoe next time.

We were pampered and we loved the atmoshere - you just can't beat the Northshore Tahoe Beaches in August. Spotless ... accomodations, and super individual service. [...] from Moldova was just the "Absolute Best" at the beach for service - we just loved her! The "Champagne" welcome at checkin was the "Bomb", and the staff is both friendly and exteremely helpful.

Wave Riders, Canoes and rafts are right there at the private Hyatt beach, plus you'll be spoiled by the staff - have a Blast and enjoy the views!

Great Spot
ComfortLover Jun 28, 2009
We enjoyed the beach and beach amenities including kayaking, jet skiing, swimming and laying in the sun. Other than one ... slightly disgruntled blonde boy beach employee helping to run the jet ski operation the service and everything else was 5 Star.

Very dry and old room
Sungkil Mar 18, 2008
Room was very dry and not able to open window so I couldn't not refresh air inside room. My kid and I couldn't sleep well ... because room was too dry to sleep well. My kid woke several times. They ask $18 for resort fee(Hotel amenities) each night. It is really wasting money. If you like to swin in pool all day it is okay but people don't go Tahoe for swim. If you have kid, I don't recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with the hotel and staff. It is a great place to take a vacation and everyone was helpful to meet any ... of your needs. The food was great and the atmosphere was super! There was lots to do and many places to go. The room was excellent! I would recommend the Hyatt Regency to anyone, anytime.

The hotel is located on Lake Tahoe and there is plenty to see and do such as the many campgrounds around the lake where you can do hiking. In the winter, there are plenty of snow-skiing resorts. There is shopping in South Lake Tahoe, about 25 minutes from the hotel.
