A decent cheap hotel

After reading other's reviews, I was afraid to see what I had gotten our family into but was surprised that it was a tad bit ... better than I expected. Although nowhere near a 5 star resort, the location right off the highway within walking distance of a seafood restaurant and many fast-food restaurants was ideal. The place is kind of run-down, but clean enough to not be scary. We would definitely stay there again if we were in a pinch and the nicer hotels were booked up. Very friendly staff, convenient, and cheap enough.

Good Place to sleep

This was a great location. We went to homestead for the final races of the season. We normally drive down and back on Sunday, ... but this time we wanted to see all three races,so we wanted to stay for the week-end. It was a great decision to stay at the Fair way Inn. Only a ten minute drive to the track. No need to rush around! The house keeping staff were very good,as well as the desk staff. We can't wait to do it again next year. thank you Chris b.

Not worth half the price we paid

Went to NASCAR championship race. Booked King bed but got double and was told no kings were available. first thing next ... morning talked to someone and there was a king. we moved. no hair dryer, no iron not enough towels. Staff were not polite. Flat bottom sheet on king bed did not fit and came loose during the night. The price was outragously expensive for this type of room. When the room was cleaned there were still hairs on the shower tile. I'll be thinking twice before using [...] again for hotels. For the event we attended the location was good but it is not worth the price.

A decent cheap hotel

This was a one night, two hotel room stay. We loved how close we were to Key Largo for snorkel trip at 8:00am....We even ... were able to eat the cont. breakfast at the hotel before we left. We enjoyed the pool and waterfall into the pool. Cracker Barrel and Starbucks were right next door and other food choices. Even a movies near by. The beds were a little hard but for one night we all still got our rest. Thank you for keeping the cost down so large families like ours can still have our mini vacations.

The staff was very freindly and helpfull. The breakfast was good and the hotel was close to keys and major highways. Had a ... lot of fast food available in area. The only thing we did not like was that the room was that it had a musty smell.

Staff was very helpful with location of rental car, restaurants, shopping. Parking lot and grounds were well kept and had ... security at night. We were amazed at the value of room. Cold air conditioning, microwave, refrigerator. We had a room with king size bed, and with the table and 2 chairs, it was just a little cramped. Overall very satisfied with our stay. In fact we decided to stay an extra day.

My husband stayed overnight there for his business meeting with his clients down there. He told me that the bath room was ... kind of larger size than that of the room with 2 beds. Everything else was good condition. He enjoyed staying there. Compared with the previous trips, he was satisfied with the price he paid for his room. He suggested that if the carpet was clean, it would be great place to stay.

This hotel is located near shopping centers, gas, and restaurants. This place is a convenient place to go everywhere to visit the Florida City/Homestead. The security at night is great. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We took a friend from another state to visit Homestead, FL. They gave us the same room like last time we came there even ... though I requested to have another room. The condition in the room has still not fixed, the same thing: (broken bathroom's door handle, old (blurry, bad) mirror, and dirty carpet. Anyway, we enjoyed being there because its location and safety. Besides that, it's quiet at night and staff are friendly. The most important to us is the good price compared with the other hotels. Thanks Obitz's staff.

I used to stay at Fairway Inn. At that time, the room was good except the air conditioning is not cold enough even though we ... set up low. Anyway, we enjoyed staying there. This time we were assigned to stay at a different room. The carpet, the mirror, and the bathroom's handle door of the room were not good. They exchanged the microwave for me when I told them the microwave did not work. Quick respond. Compared with the previous trips, we saved some money when we stayed there this time. Thanks for the good price.

Handy location between Miami & the Keys, good size room with fridge & microwave. also a good, clean, updated ... bathroom. Continental breakfast included. plus a fair size pool and premium TV channels make for a good deal. I would stay there again no problem.

For the money you pay it was worth it. The rooms had a lot of space and were in good condition along with having a fridge ... and microwave. The down side was after the first night the bed was made but the sheets were not changed. After the second night we left the room around 11:30 that morning and apparently that was late enough to not have the room cleaned at all. The front desk staff need to smile more and be a little more welcoming.

We were staying there before we boarded a cruise the next morning. Something in the room caused my allergies to stir up ... causing a stuffy nose, which in turn caused us to not be allowed on the cruise due to new percautions surrounding the Swine Flu.
