Great weekend getaway

This was a fantastic hotel with great staff greeting us when we arrived! Very convenient just off the interstate and to ... shopping of any sorts. Close enough to the University of Florida and the football stadium, but out of the way of the traffic of the game. Rooms were spotless and very quiet.

We were in town for a family wedding. Location was great for our needs! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds ... were great and the room was cleaned well yet musty when we first arrived. It took half a day for the musty smell to go away after turning on the air but that wasn't a big deal. A/C worked well which was a real plus since the temps. each day were around 100! Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed for two nights when we were apartment hunting in town. Nice hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was much ... better than what we expected: there were bagels(jam+cream cheese),waffles and good strong coffee to start the day with.The breakfast room lady was also very helpful making sure everything was available for all the quests arriving different times.The freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening were a nice surprise. The hotel had all kinds of quests:young couples, business men and families with little children.It is suitable for anyone. It was very nice and quiet. Our room was clean and the tv had good channels to choose from.The free wireless internet access was also very important for us.The refrigerator, microwave oven and little coffee maker were also useful.I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Gainesville for a couple of days!

The Comfort Inn West was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was a perfect size and having the frig. and microwave was ... a great plus. It is close to everything in town and convenient to get back on the highway. All kinds of food eateries and shops around the corner. The continental breakfast is a great way to start your day so you don't have to stop somewhere else for breakfast.
